I found an easy way to clear rubble without pickaxes if someone hasn't suggested it yet. Just select a dirt block from the terrain at the bottom of the building choices and choose "remove" instead of "place". It will delete rubble, dirt and stone but will not affect building blocks, like walls, stairs and floors. Big time-saver. It was the only way I could figure out what was going on at the woodgard cathedral. Hope this helps.
Definitely! Yeah a couple have mentioned different methods. I'm using more than the pickaxe now but at the time I was needing a bunch of rubble. This new spot I'm working on has a ton of rubble piles that would take forever to hack away haha 😎🎩
Yeah I am looking forward to NPCs for sure!! I just hope future updates will leave my restoration in tack lol. Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😎
You did an amazing job, im especially pleased you restored it while respecting it I saw some guy "restoring" The Blue Goblet, and the first thing he did was pretty much rip all the character out of it, and remove almost everything that couldnt be replaced, you know the bits and pieces we cant make and place as players, then he ripped out all the bits he could repalce and did so I always felt he had no idea of what made a restoration worth doing Im very glad to see you understood this, and went above and beyond to bring it back to life Bravo! That tavern in the one corner? That was easy to repair. Only needed to patch a few holes in the walls and roof. Only furniture I took out was the broken stuff, and there wasn't very many broken pieces.
Glad someone else is doing the same. I am rebuilding the harvest homestead. Really do wish the game had a creative mode to make it go just a bit faster.
That's awesome! A great POI for sure. A creative mode would be awesome! The new project I'm working on is almost done cept the deco, which is coming down to material harvesting grind. It would certainly be nice to have quicker access to everything needed lol. There are so mods/save game files that basically give you creative mode but it's kind of a pain to get working from what I've read. Oh well, this is fine 🙂
@@Sharpie360 I think that's because most people go into 'survival/crafting' wanting to make something impressive, or that they're somehow obliged to make their own. Personally I really enjoy the renovation idea. With different worlds for different characters I started with Harvest Homestead (for the farmland - so they all visit their to get the soil). Currently splitting time on Fort Kelvin, a tower a little to the north west and Thornhold. (Blue Goblet is a nice building, but has crappy farming) Still deciding whether to finish all of those or move into the next zone to see the opportunities.
@kirstenwheeler9684 yeah I know what you mean on that. I like the change of pace from building from scratch too. I'd like to start incorporating rounded walls, circular towers, and stuff like that when I resume my revelwood base build. I have flame altars laid out for my next restoration project location too. This one is considerably larger in size. 😎 I like the locations in the revelwood and spring lands the best, for the materials used and environment. The Nomad highlands are cool and the kindle waste is pretty hostile and formidable.
@@AwholvNation Nice! I have a number of them unlocked but I am stuck at the NPC that relates to GE and one of the quest items was in the lone tower to the west. The recent patch was said to have just completed automatically if you happen to renovate a quest item location but this didnt happen for me so i need to move the flame altar and let that tower reset to get the item, then re-restore it. LMAO but thank you! hopefully soon!
if you change the game to relaxed mode it makes it so your tools don't degrade, they added that mode specifically for people who want to build, and it also increases resources obtained. You can also make it so you don't have stamina that way you can keep building without stopping
That sounds perfect! I don't think that was in the game yet IIRC but it certainly would have made things go a bit quicker haha the grind came from gathering materials for decor mainly. Cheers 😎
first of all, Great Job! I'm thinking of restoring Glennwoods End myself, but the history of the town leaves me troubled. The scavengers in the area are in fact the old inhabitants (humans) before they drank the elixer. You find out about this sad story by reading the lore pages for this place 😥. Maybe I will give it a brighter future much as you did 😊
Thank you so much!! Yeah deff interesting about their history for sure. That damn elixir! Haha I just released a similar video where I restore the entire city of Surats Rest, I'd encourage you check that project out too 😎😁 Cheers! And best of luck if you take on the task!
At times a pain lol but they look better and don't have the walls clipping thru the sides along the edges. Maybe more snow when weather becomes a thing too 😎
I did this recently as well after finding the location. It was such a great way to learn how the dev team actually built everything. You can tell the double walls, triple floors, etc used when they decided to do this game. It's definitely taught me alot when it came to learning building.
It looks great. I hope they add in armor and weapon racks to add more decor. My carpenter makes banners. Well, just a war banner. This was per-latest patch. It could be his, and all the other npcs, quest lines are finished.
Nice! Thank you as well. Yeah there are actually a number of deco item you can unlock one you start picking up materials from the Kindle wastes! And I bet we will see more too :)
That’s awesome! Kelvin is a good one to restore for sure. I looked at a bit too but wanted something a bit different after GE. Im finding some really cool spots in the Blackmire right now then its off to the mountains!
One thing I learned when reconstructing a large Vukah fortress is you can place large pieces of foundation and when you remove it the rubble you place it over is removed. Helps for large amounts of rubble
Yeah that's a helpful tactic for sure. In some of the bigger piles I was considering it but I actually needed the majority of the rubble collected for use in crafting and using that method doesn't yield any material. But yeah it's a great way to carve out the terrain neatly! Thanks for watching 😄
Sir, thank you for humbling me! I have rebuild three locations in Embervale, Gloonwood End being the last. You were wise, saving the Keep for last. Sadly, I started with the Keep. I still do not know how to properly clear floors without totally removing them. I cannot match the materials as you do. I failed at recreating the courtyards as you did. So, I feel shame at my attempts and I am impressed with your work. Keep it up, please.
Bro thanks for checking out the video. Don't feel shame just make it your own! :) I just spend too much time with building so it seems easy lol you got this! I really appreciate your kind words!
hat out and applaud u courage to take on this huge challenge! i hope they add more decorations in the future updates to continue making this place even more beautiful than u just made it!
Hey i really appreciate that! :) Yeah I hope so too! I have not finished the available content yet so since the video I actually did unlock a war banner which would have been cool! Looking forward to more decor forsure.
That is incredible. The amount of work you must have put into it and the awesome result. Very good work. I'm new to the game and haven't decided if I want to restore some buildings or build something on my own. But whatever it will be, it will never look so beautiful like this project.
Thanks so much! I appreciate that! I would deff recommend building both new and restoring something existing. One of the tricky things I didn't talk much about was how blocks will generate the way they display based on the blocks around them. Like if it has a block directly underneath it or not will affect how the trim edge looks. That's the kind of stuff that you'll only get a feel for after doing a bunch lol. Its a ton of fun!
Thank you! And awesome! That was one spot I considered for the next project but ultimately went with somewhere else with a bigger bridge 😎😉 I also have 4 altars for this one hehe
I've been doing the same thing. Although one of the larger buildings was practically just a shell full of rubble. I had to improvise as to what it MIGHT have looked like.
Great, I did it in a smaller form with the desert city. It's a lot of work but it's worth it. Maybe it will be added to the game as a feature. I'd love it if the cities returned to their former glory once you've defeated the boss.
That's awesome! The next spot I'm eyeing in in the Nomad Highlands but it was a tough choice between it and a couple cool desert spots. We may see something like this happen, the roadmap revealed NPC townsfolk incoming at some point this year! 😁😮
@@Sharpie360 I'm already looking forward to your next project! I'm currently building a small village in the desert mountains in the style of Assassin's Creed. The roadmap is fantastic. I hope you keep having fun and the NPCs would bring more life to the towns. We can be curious❤️

Thanks Sharpie! I've just moved in to Glenwoods End! Great place! But I took over half of the estate only. A lot of work. You've done great job. I'm not sure if I can do the same. But I will try! Cheers!

So impressive!! It looks amazing! 🤩 I really need more hours in the day so I can spend more time playing Enshrouded. This is on my list for sure. Thanks for the inspiration!
NGL, was scoping out Surats Rest last night... lol its a great spot! id love to see it rebuilt. would probably need multiple flame altars to encompass the entire POI including the bridge. May need to spin up a new game instance soon! Gunna explore more to see what else lies to the east first, I think. :)
Just to let you know, I encountered a game breaking bug here. I didn't dismantle the 2 honey trees and they kept producing honey. And kept on and kept on for like 80 hours of gameplay. Apparently, it's a well known but rare bug. It produced so much honey that it crashes my game whenever I'm there. I had to build a new base and everything. Please keep an eye out.
Yeah thank you! I did become aware of that when I found a stack of 20 honey and wax. I'm pretty sure they patched this bug though, or the flame altars final repositioning fixed it because I haven't had it happen since the patch. I appreciate the heads up anyway!! :) Cheers :)
AMAZING!! So much work went into this man great job at all that! I wanted to do this, but dam I dont have the skill or patience lol but I might have to with the new update since I need sooo many beds and rooms for townsfolk might really have to take over an old town like this...
Hell yeah my dude, thank you! It definitely takes a good amount of time but you don't have to go as nuts as I did here. xD But yes i agree now with the added NPCs and wandering mechanic. it really makes actual space a requirement. Im working on filling up GE with NPCs right now. Gunna do an update at some point soon. Stay tuned and thanks for watching! 😁
I am happy it fit inside one, but it wouldn't have been terrible to have 2. id have worked it into the upper courtyard area or maybe even the keep! But this keeps my few remaining altars free :)
Nice job. I am actually in progress of making a residence (Governor of Glennwood as I have been referring to it) above it tucked into the mountains. Had debated doing this but not sure I could do it the justice you did. Fantastic job. Just had some crazy views from that area.
Really great build here. I placed an altar here with the intention of doing something similar, but since Id already had one at the Revelwood Inn closeby, and wanted a few free altars, removed it. Maybe another time, seeing how well your work here went. Note btw - you commented that we cant craft banners - we can actually do a limited few at present, and Ive been able to do so for at least a week or so now (granted am fairly a way into it now), just thought Id make ppl aware of this ability (via the Carpenter, (I forget after which quest this unlocks though sorry))
Thanks a ton! I appreciate it! I really like this spot! Haha funny you should mention that because I just found that out last night about the war banner. I should have mentioned that I haven't finished the game yet, or what's available so far. and there is more to discover. I hope we get a lot to work with in the future too. Cheers!
That sounds like a much simpler project, sounds nice lol you never really know how big it's going to be until you're in too deep hahaha check out my surats rest restoration- that one is even larger!
Thank you my friend! I appreciate it. Yeah, I'm finding out about that all too late lol I'm looking forward to the next project and I'll have the rest of the craftables to work. Also, appreciate the mention of the intro 😄
So much! But thankfully there are plenty of sources on flint in the springlands and hopping in and out of the server to refresh the world makes mining go fairly quick.
Yeah thats becoming a bit of a downside - that happened to me in my Surats Rest restore. But what I did was load into a new world and did the scroll quest in that world. Probably wont work with NPCS and stuff tho. My concern with the updates is that my work would be overwritten cause they've reworked a number of POIs. Thanks for watching!
Yeah true but I needed the rubble and the cube removal stuff would be more cumbersome than using the pickaxe so ultimately I needed to do it the old fashioned way 😅 it's great for earth cutting tho
Yeah it's part of the enshrouded table for cheat engine. It gives you a number of different options to change. The only drawback with the camera is that it's independent of the characters facing direction so it can be difficult to actually play this way. Pretty cool for video tho!!
@@Sharpie360when you changed the flame alter does it lose it's level too? I have started working on restoring smaller homes but I had forgotten about GE.
@@Sharpie360 I got lucky from watching your video it only took 2 tries to get all the buildings in the town. Now I need to start restoring the town. Thanks so much for your videos.
Thanks! It's an MXL V63M, actually an older condenser mic I've had for years. It's a solid mic, but i also have a number of settings in OBS fine tuned to make it sound as best as possible. (That's always the secret ingredient to bring the mic sound to the next level) 😎😉😁

The only drawback with the camera is that it's independent of the characters facing direction so it can be difficult to actually play this way. Pretty cool for video tho!!
Yeah id say that's a bummer. Haven't tried joining any public servers much after the first week or so, just because of all the griefing and all the quests being done already. Once more content and different permissions come about, I bet we will see more people playing public. Plus they're adding a server portal of some sort.
No, not at all! In fact the building material was all pretty common. The bigger task would be getting the flame to level 4. I'm discovering a lot more still now and there are a ton of decorations that get unlocked when you get further into the game!
@@garyrhuman ahhh I see what you mean. Do you know what kind you need? I think you should be able to remove a block from the structure and it'll unlock the recipe if it's new. But if it's for something like refined wood floor, you'll need to unlock certain workbenches/factories to make the materials needed. Like a sawbench is needed for the planks for the refined wood blocks. But you won't need limestone or anything to fix most of the structures in the early game area. Hope this helps!
Hi again. They did indeed fix the bug and I'm currently working on this again. I really love your stair solutions for the Keep area. I currently have one of the 4m stairs at the entrance, but I like your 2m better and I may bogart the idea, as well as some of your patio ideas with the bricks and different blocks as well. I posted 2 videos of this location so far. Plus, I restored Lupa's Lair. Check them out if you have time. I'd appreciate some feedback.
Awesome! Yeah I am almost done editing my new project so that will be up soon and I'm very excited about it! That's cool, Lupa's lair is a really cool spot! Yeah id love to go check them out!! :)
Yeah actually soon, but not quite yet. Once I have finished my latest restoration project, I will upload the savefile and include a link in the description. Both projects have taken place in this SaveGame so you will be able to check out both! :) Stick around for a bit and I should have it out soon!
Haha that would be dope. Id need a team of people to accomplish that restoration. Plus isnt like 50% of it covered in shroud too? Tricky! Thanks for watching :)
Ha I was wondering when someone was going to ask. It's actually just a camera zoom mod I run that basically puts the camera where the characters head is. It's pretty impractical for actually playing tho because the camera operates independently of the characters facing position so it becomes a mess. But its great for content creation!
As awesome as this looks and love the mess to cleaned up place it means nothing until they add NPC’s that can repopulate these areas. The lore even encourages you to “restore the world” but if the shroud and everything remain then it doesn’t mean anything
Thank you! Yeah I know what you mean, it would be cool to see some NPC's back in the town but then I feel like it would need a whole "restored" mechanic and some rhyme or reason for going back to the town in the first place. Being there isn't really any stores or anything like that. Maybe there will be more crafters to unlock in future content. I also wonder how the lore will end up laying out, or if its really just there for a past events timeline only. Thanks for watchin! :)
I found an easy way to clear rubble without pickaxes if someone hasn't suggested it yet.
Nicely done!
Thank you much! Definitely check out my surats rest resto too. That one was massive: )
Wonderful job!
Thank you! Cheers! 😁
I got the whole town inside the maxed out alter zone so was really happy about that as one you tuber had to use two alters.
I am happy it fit inside one, but it wouldn't have been terrible to have 2. id have worked it into the upper courtyard area or maybe even the keep! But this keeps my few remaining altars free :)
I left out a piece of the town. I love to have angry neighbours respawning.
@Firise haha nice! That's a good infinite resource of cloth and scrap metal, very useful 1😎
Great job ! ! ! !
Thank you much!! :)
Well done! Thank you for sharing 😊
Of course! Thank you and thanks for watching! :)
Nice job. I am actually in progress of making a residence (Governor of Glennwood as I have been referring to it) above it tucked into the mountains. Had debated doing this but not sure I could do it the justice you did. Fantastic job. Just had some crazy views from that area.
Hey thank you! That's awesome haha I like it!
I absolutely love Scary Interesting! What a great, unexpected, shoutout
I recently stumbled upon it! It's so good, I love those kinds of stories! I enjoy the context and narration, and fun facts it gives. 😁
This looks amazing!! Thanks for the inspiration - I'm wanting to restore a spot or two myself.
Thank you! It certainly is fun and a nice change of pace versus a blank canvas. Love enshrouded
wow great job!
Thank you much!
Cheers!
I could see repairing the Blue Goblet Inn and living there, I've done that.
But this is insane.
That sounds like a much simpler project, sounds nice lol you never really know how big it's going to be until you're in too deep hahaha check out my surats rest restoration- that one is even larger!
@@Sharpie360 Will do!
Awesome intro, m'Dude. Concise. Love the vid. Great job. Oh, there are a few banners you can make.
Thank you my friend! I appreciate it. Yeah, I'm finding out about that all too late lol I'm looking forward to the next project and I'll have the rest of the craftables to work. Also, appreciate the mention of the intro 😄
@@Sharpie360 yeah, buddy. Can't wait to see what you do next!
Awesome!! 🎩
i started this also but i keep crashing but hope i can try again , great work!!!!!
Thank you! Bummer on the crashing, hopefully it'll run a bit better soon!
So cool
Cheers 😎
Great job!
Thanks! I appreciate it 😎
I did the same. My favorite base in fact
Haha that's awesome! :) it's a great spot
awsome job =)
Thank you! 😄🎩
looks awesome
Appreciate that! 🎩😎
Oh man i just wonder how much flint this would take!
So much! But thankfully there are plenty of sources on flint in the springlands and hopping in and out of the server to refresh the world makes mining go fairly quick.
I've started doing this to the villages as well. I have a lot more fun rebuilding than building new
It's kind of a cool change of pace! I really like it in that sense for sure
Nice job!
Thank you, much appreciated! 😁
need more credit dude this is awesome
Haha thanks I appreciate it! 😁 share it around! 😉
I would do this but sometimes patches add new quests to POIs.
You can delete the rubble with the terrain tool. It'll make clearing stuff much faster. (Watching still, not sure if you eventually figured this out)
Yeah true but I needed the rubble and the cube removal stuff would be more cumbersome than using the pickaxe so ultimately I needed to do it the old fashioned way 😅 it's great for earth cutting tho
WOW !!!!! Amazing and well done restoration. Quick question: If you remove the altar does the town revert back to its former decrepitude?
Thank you! I appreciate it! And yeah not only that, all the enemies will come back too.
@@Sharpie360 Figured as much. TY for the quick reply. Take care
No problem! I try to respond to everyone. :) thanks for stopping by!
5:56 I need to learn how to do that zoom
Yeah man! It's mainly just setting the zoom and compensating for the offset. The key framing in resolve makes it super easy once you know what to do 😊
Those wooden spikes that are used for walls on the outside are scavenger built
Yeah some of them got saved because they look cool. I'm sure the townsfolk would agree 😎😅
how did u change the camera to first person @12:54 ? is it a mod?
Yeah it's part of the enshrouded table for cheat engine. It gives you a number of different options to change. The only drawback with the camera is that it's independent of the characters facing direction so it can be difficult to actually play this way. Pretty cool for video tho!!
@@Sharpie360 thank you.
@@MadMuss anytime 😊
2:57 the only thing that WON'T go away. . . lol
Lol right?? Would need to swap and replace the flame altar yet again 😴
@@Sharpie360when you changed the flame alter does it lose it's level too? I have started working on restoring smaller homes but I had forgotten about GE.
@@kaylonni9574 yeah it will lose its level if you destroy it so it's kind of a pain when you need to check the higher level boundaries lmao
@@Sharpie360 I got lucky from watching your video it only took 2 tries to get all the buildings in the town. Now I need to start restoring the town. Thanks so much for your videos.
@@kaylonni9574 that's awesome!! Happy to be of help and happy building! 😁
heya great vid. Just wondering what mic you use sounds gr8
Thanks! It's an MXL V63M, actually an older condenser mic I've had for years. It's a solid mic, but i also have a number of settings in OBS fine tuned to make it sound as best as possible. (That's always the secret ingredient to bring the mic sound to the next level) 😎😉😁
Wow!! 😮🎉🎉
Heehee 😋😎💥
First person?

This is 100% spot on!
Did your fully upgraded flame cover the whole place?
Yeah I had it upgraded to level 4 at that point IIRC. I'll have to double check as I'm filling GE with the many NPCs you can now assign!
nice
thanks bud!
This is awesome. Entered into the comp?
Yeah buddy! Thank you and I did enter it over on Twitter but idk if it qualifies or not lol but it's submitted! Haha
I wish this game had more people playing public servers. Literally almost every server is dead
Yeah id say that's a bummer. Haven't tried joining any public servers much after the first week or so, just because of all the griefing and all the quests being done already. Once more content and different permissions come about, I bet we will see more people playing public. Plus they're adding a server portal of some sort.
Does this mean u need to get to the end game to get all type of building block before starting the restoration?
No, not at all! In fact the building material was all pretty common. The bigger task would be getting the flame to level 4. I'm discovering a lot more still now and there are a ton of decorations that get unlocked when you get further into the game!
@@Sharpie360 but when I'm trying to restore Harvest Homestead, I don't have the base floor block. It's an early game location.
Anyway you can share the save for this with us?
Yeah actually soon, but not quite yet. Once I have finished my latest restoration project, I will upload the savefile and include a link in the description. Both projects have taken place in this SaveGame so you will be able to check out both! :) Stick around for a bit and I should have it out soon!
A black banners that u left are the banners of enemy (Grabieżcy), not Glenwood.
They're the signs of remembrance! May we never forget the torment the town of Glenwoods End endured under the siege of the scavs!
Very Good Why not Renovate Pikes Reach.
Haha that would be dope. Id need a team of people to accomplish that restoration. Plus isnt like 50% of it covered in shroud too? Tricky! Thanks for watching :)
how can you play in first person..?
Ha I was wondering when someone was going to ask. It's actually just a camera zoom mod I run that basically puts the camera where the characters head is. It's pretty impractical for actually playing tho because the camera operates independently of the characters facing position so it becomes a mess. But its great for content creation!
ggs
Just did the same.
Very cool! This location seems to be a favorite for a lot of people 😁
next project ...... it's a real thing lol.
Surats Rest! 😱🔥
i did this to willow crush
Very nice! Was it the old version? Or the new? The new willow crush would be a lot of fun to redo!
gj. recommendation: make a short about this and link both videos
Deff! Already got one queued to post! 😎 Thank you!
