i always found MODOK creepy, and in the comic he has done very badass stuff, i never get why that translates into "make him a joke" in most animated series
The Avengers EMH version of M.O.D.O.C was both of a powerful super villain and a joke at the same time.
Aside from being true to the character who is from the original source, that is the reason why he is the greatest media rendition of M.O.D.O.K outside of the comics.
I mean... he is a big ass head so it is kinda hard to not make him a joke
He's one of the most powerful and dangerous villains in Marvel's lineup. And that worries me because you know they'll make him a comedic villain if he ever entered the MCU.
One of his more recent comic book depictions was literally a Donald Trump stand in. Not even a parody either, just the writer and/or artist thought Trump was evil and hated him so much he made a modok version of him in the comics. Modern Marvel Comics everyone, how the mighty have fallen.

Jim Cummings' take on M.O.D.O.K. is somewhere between his Robotnik voice and a dead-on Peter Lorre impression.
M.O.D.O.K. has a lot of potential as a villain, he is super smart and has very low physical stats which means that introducing new hero’s or powers is super easy because it’s going to be tested before they meet him
Props to the Writers for taking a silly concept such as a Giant Head on a Chair & Making Him so Intimidating & Threatening 🔥👍
Only Earth's Mightiest Heroes managed to make M.O.D.O.K into a cool character. They did this by acknowledging that he is ridiculous. If you try to be serious about M.O.D.O.K. as the other series have done it ruins the character.

Yeah, MODOK is basically a joke villain. Only EMH makes him a legitimate threat.

+Atomicskull I'll just post my previous comment here: FUCK anyone who thinks MODOK is a joke villain. He managed to get a few good moments in the comics, with many superheroes, and managed to defeat many important people.
He's a true bad-ass, you can't judge a villain by his appearance or voice, MODOK is one of the most intelligent things in the Marvel Universe.

The quotes didn't stand out much, I thought, but the biggest tank to the quality of this vid was the minute long AMV compilation intro before it actually got to the point of what I came here to watch.
