Look forward to all your content. Just arrived home from worming on Cronulla beach. Good to see the team and great at length explanation . Looking forward to maybe a beach fishing and worming episode in the future. Love anything you both do.
We used those hollow belly lures heaps on barra , when they get smashed up you can super glue them back together, get a few more fish out of them. They also swim a bit more natural if you use worm hooks with a weight in the middle makes them more snag resistant. Love your video, wish I had half your knowledge fishing in the hunter river.
Yeah I'd probably give them a go as my larger powerbaits are solid swim shad 6 inch. Bait junkie are 6 inch & both are fairly weighty especially Berkley with internal pre rigged head. Favourite Flattie plastic would have to be Atomic prong 3 &4 inch prawn. Yep that 5 inch & weight needs to be in my new tackle bag. Fairly new (to me anyway) is the Pro Lure Ultragar top water Flathead model 5 inch hard body. Top of tide on the flats & shallow gutters, looks good & only a redback. Haven't used it yet but as always keen to get some. cheers.
Good video mate 👍 Yep, soft plastics are always a chance to tear. The hollow belly lure ones even more so. Probably why they sell them in multiple packs 😂 But if they catch you good fish in the process, its a small price to pay. Enjoyed the content too. Cheers 😀
Great video mate and thanks for the review and footage! I’ve been thinking about buying a packet of these lures, I definitely think I’ll give them a try after watching your video. Keep up the great work Dave! 👍🎣
Thanks Will versatile lure lots of possibilities rigged weedless fished really light over a flat fir flathead or fished on heavier jig heads wonder what a 5 inch rigged on a 3/8 jig head fished out of the boat with your technique would go
@@aussfish9995 Yeah definitely mate, I think they’d be great with the plastics technique we use in the boat. But as you said, also great for flathead and jewwies, and I think the mangrove jacks up here would love the 4 inch ones!
Interesting dave to hear your approach an how much it differs from mine but we both catch fish. Proves theres no right or wrong in fishing just ppl who catch fish an ppl who dont 😂

They have been around a long time I use the smaller size and the medium size both awesome I’m going to try them on Snapper this year should be good
Yeah that sounds good. I'm going to give them a go on the fresh water and chase a couple cod.

😂😂 What’s that saying, there is more than one way to skin a cat
@@aussfish9995 pretty much. Anything can work an as long as your catching thats all that matters really.
I'm more on the sometimes /most times Don't 😂
But, we keep trying
😂😂
Could you put scent into the cavity or are they sealed
There sealed, I never use catch scent on any of my lures, but that’s a topic for another episode 😂😂😂
@@aussfish9995 it would be interesting to see a comparison between scented and straight out of the packet
Yeah I’m going to do a myth busting series of videos catch scent, leader size and length noise and light time of day etc should be fun
