As crossovers continue to be the vehicle of choice for American families, it has forced automakers to rethink what sedans are supposed to be. The newest vehicle to enter this segment is the #VolkswagenArteon. This sleek new hatchback has the same profile as an Audi A5 Sportback but is closer in size to the far more expensive Audi A7. The #Arteon is the new flagship of the #Volkswagen lineup and it also happens to offer a huge backseat and more trunk space than some small SUV's. We'd like to see #VW offer an #ArteonR with 6-cylinders under the hood boosted by a turbo but this is one of the slickest looking new sedans you can buy today.
Tired of all the crossover news?? We're okay with how they've forced automakers to rethink sedans in the process...The Arteon is one of the newest "hatchback" sedans to come to market like the Kia Stinger and Buick Regal Sportback. If only the Nissan Maxima and Toyota Avalon would also go this route... like this comment if you agree with us! ;)
I really like the test drives at night! Do more!
Great review and great rpmscore. Its pretty bright for 8 pm. I"m thinking about my design for a cross sadan. Keep it up.
Unless it's deeply discounted, once you go over $40K I would take a Stinger GT for that price (which are also heavily discounted these days). You get SO much more performance for the money. A mid level 4 motion trim under 40 seems to be the sweet spot.
And if you look at just the FWD version, I'd take an Accord 2.0T any day- it drives like a proper sports sedan. You can get a manual in that one as well.
This was the perfect time of day for the test drive IMO. Not too dark but you get to see the lights and interior ambiance. Less glare from the sun is another plus.
I'm loving this car , as always excellent review
Sedans are becoming more of emotional purchases like coupes used to be. This is one of the best looking sedans out there.
I Downvote All Ads yea I’m excited to see where sedans go with personality
What it's This before reviews Music
I like the interior. It’s clean and not over designed like a lot of the tacky looking cheap competition.
2:54 for skip the ad for cheap watches.
Thank u kind sir
Pico vincero are great watches for the price they are not made cheaply at all
Ivanov Preslav if you’re gonna own a watch you should go for a Rolex or Movado, not something cheap.
MVP PICO
Huy Thai Rolex is too expensive
VAG doesn't want too many Audi shoppers downgrading to the Arteon. That's probably why it doesn't get a load of horsepower.
APR stage 1 tune puts it way over 300hp.
Like the video with the driving experience at night - always like to see the interiors at night with these new cars. Great job!
I agree. Great idea to do the test drive at night. I love the interior (and everything else about this car).
Best looking Volkswagens to date. 👍👍👍
Topping with the passat golf interior :)
Meh. Side profile looks too much like a Chevy Malibu
I had the 2013 cc vr6. This thing (Arteon) with similar features is very pricey! 45k
And continues to have the junkiest interiors.
VW should give the Arteon a V6 or 5 cylinder engine.
I love the design. Great review
You don't pay European prices for fuel, I assume.
They need to make an R-teon with 300+HP and DSG
That would make it a true bargain S5 Sportback
DangerousDan but they won’t because they’re saving that for audi
The 8spd auto is sourced from Aisin (Toyota); it'll last forever. Too many problems with DSG.
It's already there in Europe since 2017
@@BIG_TOE Having owned two GTI's with VW's excellent DSG I'd have to disagree. VW opted for a conventional geared AT in the Arteon primarily because consumers accustomed to an AT find the behavior of a DSG to be unfamiliar and the option of treating the DSG as a manual transmission isn't a priority for those customers.
VW Salesman: You mentioned engine noise is a bit louder than you would like on the hwy. When I was watching the video you had the vehicle in sport mode continuously preventing the vehicle from entering a lower RPM range. As instructed by VW. Sport mode us to be used temporarily to have spirited moments of driving and provide additional passing capabilities. Sport mode should NOT be the sole mode of your commute. Love you content btw!
He tends to abuse cars. Lol. Well he also has the radio and ac/heat off. And yes he shouldn’t leave it in sport.
Sofyan Bey's reviews are simply outstanding. They are so professional and so informative. Not only is he very well informed about the car he is reviewing, he also knows how that car stacks up against the competition. Nice work, sir!
Ok two things; 1 Yall always do the best shots of the indicators, 2 Not for or against VW but that front end is absolutely gorgeous.
Scotty Kilmer thinks every brand is a money pit unless it’s a Toyota.
Is he wrong?
"Lease it and get it out of your system!"
He might be right in terms of Toyota being the most reliable, according to Alex on autos, the difference between the most reliable and least reliable vehicles aren't as big as commonly thought
Yeah VW/Audi's 2.0T is solid, no worries.
@@jeffk464 my boss bought a brand new A4 last year and it's been in the shop for a few things already. A few electrical gremlins like his trunk just pops itself randomly, one window wont roll down, and a handle is already broken. Nothing major, but considering that its brand new and he paid in the 40s for it, I still think it is unacceptable. My 2014 honda accord has never had those issues👍🏾😀
Sorry I don't know this reviewer's name but he is one of the very best communicators I've ever seen. He has it all: depth and precision based on broad experience and an ability to smoothly and effortlessly call to mind the most concise and elegant way to describe attributes and features. Kudos whoever you are.

Pro-tip sofyan: festival bigroom house background music and voiceover don't mesh well together
we have long said that ever since he changed format but it seems his editor is relentless
Agreed. It was hard to understand the intro.
there are people(bloggers) who are easy to watch, and this guy is one of them. He is always to the point with every car he reviews and entertaining at the same time
Why does the HD video look like scaled up 360p? Tons of distortion on any sharp line, moire, etc. Not sure what happened here with the camera.
I WAS ABOUT TO COMMENT THE SAME THING
Yeah definitely stuck out to me as something off with the quality
Yeah I noticed one of the same thing with one of his last reviews I was upset lol
Yeah i think it's the osmo camera format.
yeah i noticed that
To everyone reading this have a wonderful day
Having couple of Passats I’ve seen how VW have penny pinched their way to make the American assembled products look great, thats it!... It’s the little things they neglect or don’t think through that gets me. VW CAN DO BETTER.
"full roof" sunroof? This is a hatchback. The hatchback hinge essentially is just to the rear of the back of the sunroof. The roof couldn't have been "bigger".... Geez!
@9:20 90% of europe sits on the left side aswell though
lol all of europe is now left side
Very surprising comment. Perhaps you should travel a little.
Thanks for making such a thorough rundown of this car! It's been hard to find much info on it. Also appreciate that someones still holding a flag for things that aren't crossovers/SUVs.
That car has a BIG grille, it reminds me of the Camry Xle. Good review Sofyen, can you do a video on some older vehicle and see how they compare to the vehicles today.
The top level engine should be the 2.5 Audi TTRS engine. Would fit perfectly.
I loved this car the first time I saw it. Great job for VW.
You are the only youtube reviewer that I know who prefers electronic style gear selector than traditional mechanical one.
I may not always agree with your verdicts but can't argue with the quality of your reviews. Great stuff.
"Just ask Scottie Kilmore and he'll tell you that their all endless money pits". Hahahaha.
Max Troy that was too funny about Scottie 😂😂😂
Your reviews are well thought out which makes it stand out in a crowded field. What it lacks in comparison is objectivity. Too many sentences begin with what you like. Acknowledge the fact that the viewers will determine what they like or don’t like about a car. Let the review be about the car and not about you.
Comparing to Audi is so much better pricing? My Arteon SE AwD came in under $34k
Thank you for doing a review in a darker setting. I always wonder what the interior looks like at night.👍🏾thank u
And the Red Line score is!
I would also like to see the scores compiled into a list.
Thank you.
Great looking car, wish it had more power. Like it more than the A5. If I had 40K to spend on a VW I’d get a Golf R....and this coming from a guy in his late 40’s. A turbo 6 would have been more appropriate, here’s hoping for a full fledged R .
I did NOT expect the hatch. Nice reveal.
I definitely feel like the R-Line spec should come with Audi's 3.0T
Cole Webb-Rivera and a DSG
Not going to happen. They don't want potential Audi buyers to move to VW Areton instead.
That engine is not designed for the MQB. It is used in the MLB.
You repeatedly say that this is not a "sporty" car, then at the end, ding it for not being sporty enough. Hmmm.
Sport means nothing
Glad I’m not the only one that noticed! 😂
“It’s kinda sporty but not sport enough” the logic checked out correctly
@@jianyuhua what does sporty even mean though?
Bc whatever it means, the Toyota Corolla has a sport version....what does that tell you?
@@jianyuhua Yes and no. My point was he said that VW positioned the car as a luxury sedan, but then criticized it for not being sporty enough. TBH, I think VW has positioned this car as a tweener, trying to do a little luxury sedan and a little sport sedan. If that's the case, I'd like to know if they succeeded or not.
Some people like me would have preferred having the VR6 as an option for its smoothness, reliability, and sound. Love it in my Atlas.
Vw make it at least 300HP like the Avalon and you got a winner
Thirty minutes to get an APR Stage I for less than $800 and you'll have that car. And contrary to conventional wisdom, it won't invalidate your warranty.
Stephen Hendricks You sure about that? APR tuning almost always makes the power train warranty invalid.
I think this engine is fine for the Arteon. The TSI 2.0 Turbo have been in use for many years now and are reliable and perform very well.
This car would have been better,if it seats on a rear wheel drive platform.
This is a beautiful car that’s a fact, but a fully loaded Honda Accord would do just fine for most buyers.
Yes and MUCH cheaper. Nobody is going to buy this car.
That's undoubtedly true and that's why VW doesn't expect to sell many Arteon's in the US. According to the new VW CEO it's meant to elevate the prestige of the brand in the US and to appeal to those who want a true European Grand Touring vehicle at a relatively affordable price. The Accord 2.0L Touring configuration of the Accord is a fine automobile, the best mainstream midsize sedan (imo). But it is not designed to be a vehicle that can be driven comfortably on the Autobahn at speeds over 100 mph for hours.
@@stephenhendricks103 But it is not affordable. You are talking 45k plus for any decent model above the base. People might lease it for 3 yrs if a good lease deal come by though. Or if you really want one wait a couple of yrs and pick up a used one as we all know VW resale values are the shits so you are likely saving tens of thousands.
Same reason the Jetta GLI (fantastic car BTW) doesn't really sell here in the US: Americans by and large don't care about driving dynamics.
He said it feels more premium than an AVALON!!!! An Avalon could feel like a Lexus in some regards.. Sofyan's cred is at an all time low in 2019. He knows NOTHING.
@@stephenhendricks103 I think the fact that the Arteon is made in Germany has its appeals. Not too many VWs sold in the US are made in Germany so it does have a certain snob appeal. I don't think it is bad, but the engine does sound a bit raspy. For something with 260HP and 280 torques you think it can go a little faster. A C-class Mercedes back in 2015 with 20 less HP and about 10 less torques and 1 less gears can do zero to sixty in under 6s and can be had for about $45k if you keep the options down.
Vehicles are designed for their market. Honda is not going to design a car for the US market where you typically never go more than 80mph for 100+mph travel.
Arteon, my absolutely favorite video game character of all time!👌
After two months ownership I think the engine is more than adequate. My Passat was always too sedate
Hows the reliability so far? I'm curious cuz I've heard bad things about German cars but I also want one sooo 🤣🤣🤣
I live in connecticut...as a vw/audi owner, i hate to report i have NOT saw this in the wild. only in the VW lots. i can’t wait to see one, though this is such an underrated vehicle
I've had a 2006 GTI, 2010 GTI, 2016 GTI, 2014 Tiguan, 2013 Jetta TDI. All of them reached into the 100k mileage without serious repair and mostly routine maintenance. Biggest repair was an intake manifold on the Tiguan at 125k that I replaced myself. My 2016 GTI is about to hit 90k with zero issues. Im sure my experience is anecdotal and wouldn't argue with anyone writing off my experience, but they've been solid cars when taken care of properly and hold up very well quality wise.
@Tim Flohr _ Be careful, you are talking about VW ... Your KM counter most likely showing X2 more than your actual distance. Everyone knows that VW's don't last much longer than warranty period and then they start to fall apart. So, VW must have rigged something again to give you the illusion that you can put so many miles on them.
@@squidproquo2241 that's miles, not km.
@@squidproquo2241 everyone knows so it must be true
@Tim Flohr _ Not much difference ... 700 K miles is a mere 1,142 Kms ... in comparision to 85 M miles for Toyota they are not even in the traffic yet.
@Tim Flohr _ If everyone KNOWS then it is beyond fact. I assume that you are confusing KNOWING with ASSUMING.
Sofyan! I’m literally filming this right now man! I’m in love! I know a lot of people hate on VW and for good reason, however, this car is gorgeous in person! Great job on the review as always! Just out of curiosity Sofyan, what was your favorite part about the car?
Forrest's Auto Reviews Definitely the design! It turned heads everywhere we took it. At our local airport valet service, a guy walked over and mistook it for an Audi E-Tron GT and kept asking if it was electric... Have fun with it this week! We really enjoyed that car and would love to see VW do an R version with another 100 HP ;)
Redline Reviews Yes and “R” version would be awesome! Thanks for the response!
The car looks great but I am confident it won't even last until the end of the financing term.
Why do you say this?
LeGOAT Amen to that
@@utooboobnoob Just from personal experience of owning 3 different German cars and having them all expensively break on me right at the end of the lease term.
@LeGOAT please stop this... "High tech stuff breaks" same tired tune repeated by old people lol. Whether you like it or not every car on the road is a rolling computer on wheels. Stop spreading your fear of technology - it's coming whether you like it or not ;)
Ezra it’s a known thing .. they do tend to break down more.
The Arteon does have the Golf R's engine (with the is38 turbo). It's also quicker than 6 seconds 0-60. It's main advantage is in the higher speeds, since it's doesn't have built in launch control, and isn't focused around getting the absolute fastest 0-60 time. It's tuned for quick passing and higher speed accelerations.
It took VW so long to bring this here to the U.S that the interior already looks dated.😭
The interior was already outdated when it came out in EU aswell lol, VW is known for keeping the interior very similar ...
That is because they just used the interior from the Passat, which is rather disappointing.
This is basically the Euro-spec Passat interior, and yes it's already old. But sadly, still much nicer than the Chattanooga Passat : /
They look similar but the materials are better I think
I think it's beautiful
Hey, I really like the new rating system at the end. That dope. Loyal viewer for 4 years now, I like your take on cars and I think this really helps to clarify how a car stacks up against competitors.
The former Chrysler corp in the 80s made a number of sedans that were liftbacks. As well, ford did so also for mondeo/fusion twins, but only in europe.
The Dodge Lancer, the Chrysler LeBaron GTS, and the Sundance/Shadow
Upvoted and commented in advance! I'll watch this tomorrow over lunch as usual!
All it needs is a VR6 and fog lights, and it’d be perfect!!
Yes!
@@CaliBreeeze Yes, and the same VR6 lack of reliability.
Or, better yet a TDI version though as we all know by now that won't happen in the states...
@@erictrinklein4408 You can STILL get some Passat and Jetta TDI models from 2014 or so that VW has bought back and fixed and the dealers are offering them as used cars. They still want a ridiculous price for them though - for a 5 yr old VW that is.
@@orientaldagger6920 I know. I drive a 13 Passat TDI. This is the third TDI I have owned and it disappointed me when they were essentially removed from the market because there are no equivalent "cars" powered by diesel in the US. Diesel trucks are insane in price and impractical for my use.
Having gotten used to footwell lighting in my Touareg, riding in a vehicle without it at night seems so dark. Lol
The fwd regal 2.0t can get to 60 in about 5.6 secs which is fairly quick in comparison to this arteon
Anthony Weeks but then you’ll have a Buick
@@f181234
The only thing wrong with Buick is public perception. Just because people think Buick is crap it doesn't mean it actually is. Sure interior quality is not as great as others, but they do produce some of the more reliable cars out there. Regal 2.0t can out sprint quite a few cars, the GS can almost keep up with the fusion sport. This is without having any turbos and being down by almost 100 tq.
The Arteon gets to 60 in less than 6 seconds, and it will dominate the Buick from any speed. Plenty of tests and videos have been done. Good luck catching traction too.
With your guys' 1st review of the Arteon and before then when saw the launch of it on VW's site I was taken aback with surprise that VW actually produced something aesthetically pleasing and that screamed premium line. Very happy with the Arteon name and all.
So it's okay for VW to spell out the model on the center tail but for Hyundai it isn't?
That car is painfully gorgeous. I want to marry it
Beautiful car. Good job VW.
lol, I love the classic shifter as opposed to other manufacturers who get fancy with the automatic shifter and you have to learn where the P/R/N/D is located; Buttons in Honda are even worse because you can't shift by feel.
I'll take an Avalon or Camry XSE V6 over this Volkswagen. The Toyota V6s sound smoother, run better, have port/direct injection, and will be several times more reliable than a VW-designed 2.0T. The rest of the car will also be way more reliable than any VW product.
one of the best looking sedan .. this design will never looses it's freshness..
My wife really loves the ANALOG CLOCK FROM A passenger point of view
Great review, amazing quality, great detailed information on a really nice car. Love your new ranking system btw. Wish I could like more than once Sofyan. 👏🏾👏🏾
If they got rid of that stupid analog clock and extended the vents across the whole thing it would look so much better...
Mitun Shah analog clock is most luxurious thing about the car

Sofyan: Vincero Watches
Movement watches: Am I a joke to you?
VW seems to be missing the boat. This car in a V6 with 45k sticker would fly off the shelf.
The Avalon looks hideous, but has much more power and Lexus reliability.
I LOVE the style of this car. I just hold they hold up so that I can one up on the used market for a fraction of the price🤣
You and me both
I do like that the screen is integrated into the dash instead of having the tacked on iPad look.
Not sure they could fit the 3.0T laterally as it's mounted longitudinally in the Audi's. Maybe the Vr6 would be the most they could fit.
The VR6 would also probably be slower as it has the same horsepower but less torque.
@@BeesonsCars for sure
Need to put the 5cyl 2.5 turbo with dsg.
@@bikin2008 wow now there's an idea!
None of these ideas is gonna happen. The Arteon is an affordable European GT. The American market is an afterthought.
I love VW, and have driven them for a long time. My favorite car was a 2010 VW CC luxury. I had it for 8 years and put 170k miles on it. I now drive a golf alltrack estate. The 2 main problems with this car are: the transmission (where’s the dsg)?, and the touchscreen (they get the bigger one in Europe). I love this car and it will probably be my next, but I’ll wait for some updates. Right now it looks just like my alltrack on the inside, but for 12k$ more....
Once again...intro music is way too loud, way too distracting and covers up voice over.
Awesome Review as Always A beautiful Volkswagen Luxury Practicality Sedan Nicely done
Turbo i-5 would be awesome for this car
This is the first Volkswagen since the 2004 Golf r32 that I actually want to buy. If I see VW reliability improve as their current cars age then this will definitely be a 2022 pick for me.
damn that car looks nice
These rims look so much better than what they put on newer models.
Vincero watch cost 13$ to produce.
Even less probably, you can get the movements for like 2$ and that is without mass purchase
China super junk. Just like a lot of liquors - the packaging probably costs more than the watch itself.
I think you are wildly overestimating that number.
I appreciate the night time drive. We get to see more of that real world usage.
No one buys cheap non-smart watches dude
Why not promote something car related considering thats your main audience?
Junky junky from China. 'Vincero' has a laughably dumb backstory. IRL they just buy designs they like from china and spend more money on the packaging then watch itself.
Um actually they do - dude. Their sales are very good. How do you explain that if nobody is buying them?
@@metromusic5725 You mean like MVMT?

The problem with the lack of power would be greatly improved if VW would just install the 7 speed DSG in it like they do in almost all other markets.
@Dank Meme No it doesn't. In North America it is an 8 speed conventional automatic.
This is why I don't like VW... Simply because they skimp the North American and specifically US market. Otherwise, they make great cars.
Having owned a couple of GTI's with VW's superb DSG, I'd agree. But VW has found (like other manufacturers) that US customers looking for an automatic transmission are often uncomfortable with the behavior of an "automated manual" transmission, which is what a DSG is.
@@stephenhendricks103 The VW 7 speed DSG is actually very very smooth. i drove the 2019 Jetta GLI with the DSG and i can tell you it is just as smooth as any conventional automatic.
@@orientaldagger6920 I agree. In fact when I bought a GTI with a DSG (i.e. dual clutch) transmission in 2013 I had driven nearly 40 years and always had at least one true MT in my garage. Now I'd never give up my DSG for a conventional automatic (or a traditional MT for that matter). The behavior that some Americans find disconcerting is apparently the fact that when stopped on an incline without a foot on the brake a dual clutch transmission allows the car to roll slightly forward or backward. For drivers familiar with a manual transmission's behavior that's not an issue. But only a tiny minority of US drivers have ever driven a MT vehicle while in Europe about half of all vehicles are sold with MT's.
Thanks for adding footage of how the interior looks at night. Keep it up!
Toyota designer: lets make the avalon’s grille the biggest in this segment
VW Designer: we made our grille look better than your hideous avalon
Umm no. Avalon sport trim is still the king of hideously oversized grills.
The Avalon is a whale shark
D H actually every current gen avalon grill is stupidly hideous. i’d rather go for the previous gen avalon
VW and Audi grilles are non-intrusive, they do not look bad because of their size
The Avalon's grill is ugly AF , looks like someone took a vacuum cleaner noozle and stuck it on to a car. 🤢🤢🤢
This car is good for school field trips and long road trips
Some parts of this video is crunchy quality it looks like I’m watching a CNET car review back in 2010
Volkswagen has come a long way style wise. It's beautiful
2 things about Vincero:
1. It's pronounced "vin-CHAIR-o"
2. They're cheaply made and overpriced
@Gossip Heart that's why I use a Pixel!
Andrew Padgett all phones are cheaply made
16:52 I always drool over the VW golf look! Distracted.😁
PASS ON THE LEFT SOFYAN!!! Another great review, but that grill is hideous. The rest of it is sweet tho.
Please compare a Regal Sportback GS against the VW Arteon R. I think both are beautiful sedan. You don't know they are hatchbacks until you open hatch. I showed my 25 year old son the GS and he was blown away that it was a Buick.
Omg I was waiting for this 😂
Sofyan!!! Just wanted to bring your attention to the video quality; for whatever reason it is quite awful and grainy. Not sure if you are using a new camera or not or if you changed some settings. 1080p 60fps and all the other resolutions look equally as grainy/bad on my laptop, ipad, or phone. Idk if youtube is processing your video correctly. Otherwise, excellent review as always!
(and I am not referring to the night time drive which may understandably be slightly grainier. Speaking of which, I LOVE the new night time shots/reviews.)
You guys have a good eye! We accidentally switched the camera setting for this video and one more video to 720p which is why it looks a bit grainy. Don't worry though, we noticed it pretty quick and we won't make that silly mistake again.
When I heard $45k, I stopped watching. But it is an interesting car dough, mainly because of a trunk/hatchback design.
When you considered a loaded Outback is pushing 40k the Arteon is not that bad. It IS made in Germany.
Also no V6. Meh.
@@rxonmymind8362 Meh what? They had a V6 in the Passat up till a yr or so ago. No one, I mean no one bought one.
Hi ...I don't know if anyone commented on this before, but you refer to the chrome slats across the front end as 'vertical'. They are actually horizontal. This is a beautiful car, which is in my opinion, a better looking car than the current Audi A7. I have yet to see one on the streets of my city though.
How can it be the new flagship of VW with no V6 option? I think not my friend.
@DoubleAIV. I had a similar thought with I first saw a few reviews on this 2019 Volkswagen Arteon. Someone reminded me that the same parent company owns both VW & Audi. They're probably reserving the more powerful & refined engine & drivetrain combinations for their Audi vehicles.
The car looks nice ! And I'm glad you know how to merge onto the freeway by hitting the gas not the brake.. Nice video..
I’ll take the Stinger GT RWD over that.
I'll take anything else over a Volkswagen. The new Camry XSE V6 would be better by far, with a super reliable drivetrain, more power, good looks, and won't be in the scrapyard after the warranty is up.
@ISSA VIBEZ Volkswagen is even worst than Kia. Of these 2 cars I rather take Kia.
@ISSA VIBEZ it's not going to be reliable.
Solid review! I'll wait a few years till any and all kinks or bugs are ironed out before buying one.
Just buy a Kia Stinger. RWD, more HP, better warranty as well
The Stinger GT with its V6 is a fine vehicle though somewhat more expensive than the Arteon. And the overall materials as well as fit and finish are less premium than the Arteon.
Stephen Hendricks doesnt matter, better performance and more reliable, its worth the little extra money
@@ibrahimhasanovic1708 I own both a KIA and a VW so I don't have a dog in this particular fight but I'd note once again that Americans and Europeans have different conceptions of "performance." It's no accident that 1/4 mile drag races and high bank oval "road" racing were invented in the US while true road races and rallies began in Europe. Europeans tend to see GT's as long distance high speed touring vehicles on immaculately maintained highways comfortably traveling at 100 mph+ for hours at a time, not stop light drag racing or acceleration on long, straight highways where curves are rare and mountains are non-existent.
The Stinger is a fine machine but I'm not sure what the outcome would be if a Stinger and an Arteon drove 500 miles across Montana without speed limits, especially if "pit stops" were part of the "race." I' m pretty sure, though, that the driver of the Arteon would be less exhausted at the finish line than the Stinger driver.
Not really...VW 6rs/72k bumper to bumper. The 10 yrs/100k on a KIA is powertrain only.
