Rafael, I agree with you 100%. However, I just bought this keyboard and I also agree with everything @GizmoeJoe said too! Everything he said is true, 100%. Also, I love the feel of the keys. It feels like a cross between the typical laptop chiclets and a mechanical keyboard. It's a very small keyboard, we all know this, but something to note is that the actual keys are just a bit smaller than a standard keyboard AND they are VERY crowded. Anyway, I can easily get used to these differences and it will be well worth the price :) I'm a very satisfied customer. This is one of those purchases where I know I will never replace this item!
Honestly, these keyboards are GREAT for a couple weeks and that's about it. I complained so they sent another and it was also great for only a couple weeks; both keyboards have the exact same issues! They won't stay powered on more than 1 second, no matter how long they are plugged in! They simply won't hold a charge! Spend a few more bucks on a real keyboard! Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks
There is 7 colors. I bought this too, and I love it. The 7th color is found when you select the teal color and change the brightness. It goes from obvious teal to almost white.
Thanks for the review. I actually got here as I lost my instructions (and wanted the backlight). It's a GREAT little keyboard, and yes the battery lasted MONTHS (though I didn't use it daily). Plus, I now just keep it charging, sitting out of the way. The backlight feature is great as is the build quality and size. And really, you're not going to write a novel on it, for I think well worth the $20.
Thank you! I threw out the instructions and didn't know to arrow up so I only got blue and green colors. I was disappointed (I really wanted purple) till I saw your video. Thank you!
I have a similar Arteck bluetooth keyboard with a ten keypad and "channel" to be a phone or tablet stand. I use it exclusively with my Android phone and it works great!
I absolutely love this keyboard. I’ve been using it as the main keyboard for my iPad Pro. It connects merely by switching the power button on. Keys feel amazing and clicky. The battery lasts for a very long time (it’s been over a week since I’ve last charged it and the battery is still good). While I use an Apple Magic Keyboard for my Mac Mini, I highly suggest this keyboard for the iPad since it has a backlight. It’s super compact too so I just throw it in my bag to take anywhere. Lastly, there’s 6 rubber grips on the bottom of this very lightweight keyboard, so it never slips around. It’s the perfect keyboard.
I am typing this comment right now on this keyboard using my Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. I got the tablet book cover folio and this keyboard for all under $160 American. I am seriously shocked how the build quality is on this keyboard. Would reccomend 10/10. another fun fact is that the back will stick to any magnetic type folio case.
I'm glad you mentioned it came with rubber feet. My set of feet fell out of the packaging, so I was unaware and was ready to purchase some on my own because it was sliding all over my desk! It is very small and portable though. I mainly got it for the lights and they work fine.
TYPE! TYPE! TYPE! the crowd cheered. And left disappointed. Well, it's an upvote because otherwise good video, but really. A keyboard needs to be typed on by the tester, man.
I’ve had mine for awhile, but one time is stopped working, so I disconnected it. I tried to connect it for weeks now and it will not show of as any of my Bluetooth devices.
If you're a Windows user, there's one HUGE caveat (IMO). The Windows key and Alt key are switched. I feel like this was to keep it closer to a Mac layout but for Windows users (a much larger demographic), this is infuriating. Now, you can use utilities like Key Remapper and that works fine but I do a lot of RDP stuff and that totally ignores remappings. Sigh. I just don't understand why Windows mode doesn't use the standard Ctrl/Windows/Alt sequence and use Ctrl/Option/Command for IOS/Mac. If you know a solution, then hit me up!
I bought one to use for my ps4. Thank you for the review. I should get it today so if I remember I will let you know how I like it. But your review was the reason I bought this product.
it works great with my ps4. It took a few try’s to connect for the first time but once it did I would connect without any problems. The backlight is good and thank you again for the review
Just for people who are looking to get this keyboard, it says it lasts for 6 months if you use it for 2 hours a day nonstop. I felt he didn't explain that part so good. Edit: oh, and you can change the color you are on if you press Fn up arrow and then alt instead of Fn alt up arrow.

@@GizmoJoeReviewsTech Hi buddy thank you very much for replying, appreciate that very much. It's a shame that grabbing a screenshot directly from the Arteck keyboard is not an option... i've tried your method.. it is bit of a hassle, but the main issue is that it captured the keyboard as well. Not sure if there is any setting to exclude it from whatever i want to screenshot? it will be even more troublesome to position the virtual keyboard to avoid including it in the picture. Great keyboard in all aspects except for a few cons: the keys are a little too small for some gaming and I have troubles connecting, especially after a long cold drive in Canada. I haven't disconnected it from my pc since my discovery which seems to be working, but I'm afraid to ever turn it off now. While the keyboard is first warming up it has very slow response times making it completely unusable for games. I have torn apart the mouse that came with it for fun and bought a new one because it sucked, I found a chunk of aluminum which can easily be taken out to half the weight if you want. But for the gamers like me, yes this is a good cheap temporary keyboard, the response times do warm up, and it can be a very convenient and ergonomic addition to your setup
Turns out It's not so temporary. I haven't had any connection problems lately but I also haven't taken it for a long drive in a while. Kinda love this lil thing, but I'm still a lil skeptical. Battery does not last weeks like guy below says, instead maybe 6 hours of use which is still pretty decent. You can also change the brightness, already forget how, just gotta toy around with ctrl, the lightbulb alt, and the arrows
