My top two will always be: 1. Rick Flair tears Eric Bischoff a new one when Bischoff interrupted the reunion of the Four Horsemen in Greenville, SC in September 1998 2. Sting announces that the mystery partner joining him and Davey Boy Smith at the Fall Brawl will be none other than The Shockmaster! (August 1993)
Would have loved to have seen the Sting army segment on this list, one of the loudest crowd reactions when the crowd finally figured which one was actually the man, or even the segment where Sting dropped the bat which was just as loud.
As a Bret Hart guy, I of course love the steel plate angle with Goldberg. But his preceding promo beforehand is pure gold too. The Toronto crowd was eating out of his hand and he came across like the biggest superstar. 'I beat Steve Austin every time I ever fought him'.
That Ciclope reveal got an insane reaction. Jericho had essentially built up the whole storyline on his own and fans just wanted to se him get his. One of the hottest angles I have seen in wrestling.
Love him or hate him, Hogan has some of the most iconic moments in both WWE and WCW history. Hogan slamming Andre represents the pinnacle of the 80s wrestling boom and Hogan joining the NWO shocked the world and helped WCW become a genuine rival for WWE
@ Everybody knows that, but the slam at WM3 is way kite important because of the spectacle and what it meant to the storyline and the company’s success
Nash throwing Mysterio into the side of the trailer is a formative wrestling memory for me along the lines of Hogan vs Warrior at Mania 6. It will stick in my head forever.
I think Madusa's belt dumping would be talked about differently, had WCW actually built a proper division to put WWF's to shame. But they did even less with her than WWF did.
@@negrosuave9315 Like wwf during the early 90's mostly the japanese women wrestlers, but they did nothing with them as well. before the rise of the Cruiserweight there had been a few joshi matches with Bull Nakano and Akira Hokuto, after that the only women that became wcw women or wcw women cruiserweight (titles which lasted for 2 and 1 year respectivelly) champions were joshis from GAEA Japan. Vince McMahon actually portrayed a version of his future Mr. McMahon character in 1993 in the Memphis based USWA where he, as a heel, sent in various wrestlers from the WWF to go after Jerry Lawler, who was a babyface there. That predated Eric Bischoff's (who was not the "owner " of WCW) heel turn by 3 years
One awesome moment that springs to mind is Scott Hall no-selling a cup of juice that was fling at his head on Nitro during an n.W.o segment. That's cool enough, but to literally top it off, Hall kept going like nothing happened and slicked his hair back like the cool guy that he was. Smoother than silk and slicker than grease. And his hair was perfect.

Best WCW Moment: Lex Luger beat Hulk Hogan for the WcW Heavyweight Title on Monday Night Nitro. Worst WCW Moment: Hulk Hogan beat Lex Luger for the WcW Title on Road Wild 5 days after winning the belt.
According to Bruce Prichard, when Rude was with the WWF in 1997, he was literally on a per night deal where they had him sign a new contract for every show he worked.
who says luger wasnt over? the man was as over as any babyface at the time and more. But he was horrible in the ring. And Hogan was worse for tapping out so fast. Luger should have kept him there for a while longer regardless. It was a brilliant moment for sure. A top ten for me
The deal the WWE has going with Netflix could kill the memory of WCW, given it doesn't look likely everything is going to be transferred next year.
