Thanks Ian, I was flying from just beside the carpark next to South Queensferry Harbour (The Binks Carpark) It's such a capable thing the Mini 2, never stops amazing me.
@@highflyingscotland wow I flew from there last week. I have never flown the mini that far. I flew down to opposite the Hawes car park 400 metres away. Maybe i am too cautious
@@ianbenson5773 Nothing wrong with being careful. The way I see it if it's goes wrong and ends up in the water at 100m out or 500m out it's no difference. As long as you keep an eye on the battery life the distance out over the water doesn't make a huge difference. Also don't be afraid of flying over water, if anything there's less obstacles to hit and if everything does go South on you there's less beneath you that you can get into trouble for damaging.
