I enjoyed that. You must see a lot of industrial estates in your job. And yes, the old road bridge had much more character. Only way across it now is by bus as its used fir public transport.
Steve, my Uncle worked at that test centre in Kirkcaldy after retiring from the Police. Noble's recycling centre (just beyond the test centre) used to be a massive scrap yard...Brilliant fun 'back in the day' and must have 'driven' every car a young bloke could have wanted to...even if it was 15 foot off the ground in a stack of four...
No way. How strange. It's a great set up. I was hoping they were still training so I could pull up and watch for a bit. Karen a d I trained in Blackburn a few years ago to beco.e bike instructors but it never materialised. Shame really.
Its a bit of a sanitised experience tbh. The old bridge had the bumps as you went over the separators and a feeling of elevation. Im gonna sneek over the original next time ;)
I’ve never been on the Queensferry crossing and I stay in fife have done all my life Cowdenbeath to be exact we do have three industrial estates here thistle woodend and north field
