If we are descendants from these adorable creatures, then it stand to reason that remnants from our evolutionary ancestry would be present today. Monkeys from different troops can be exceptionally brutal and barbaric toward each other in actuality, same as humans and many other animal species when in competition for survival with other groups or species. To pretend as if humans don’t innately have those same instincts for survival is kinda silly to me. We just express it very differently or in a more abstracted manner. We also are self conscious in a way animals aren’t and that does complicate things, but it also allows us to deviate from primarily instinctual and biological drives to pursue meaning and reason which are a phenomenon unseen elsewhere in the animal kingdom. Still, I would agree that this video was wonderfully peaceful and pleasant.☺️
