What I like about these over Blaser: Price and not proprietary parts (like the $500 scope mount for Blasers).

I own this Gun since 2 years in 30-06 and I absolutely love it. The Action is super smooth, forget Blaser. An MDT Stock would be great !

Played with one in 6.5 creed like 7 months ago at a long range class I was helping with. The instructor shoots for Sako Beretta and had one there. Very neat concept.

Bought the .30-06. 5 rounds do not cycle in the mag, 4 rounds works fine.

A pistol grip stock like an MDT HNT26 would make this irresistible!!! Hammer forging the barrel and chamber 😮. Brilliant

I must say those other "straight pull" rifles with the two action move feels odd. This proper straight pull must feel awesome

We could call it a cheap copy of Blaser 😉

Spot on. The Blaser R8s are absolutely everywhere in Europe and this is definitely taking a stab at it.
Now I own a Blaser, but a BBF97. Really dislike the R8 personally. Looks ugly, heavy, stock is awful (plastic), dislike the ergo grip, hate the removable mag/trigger combo, and for the whole system price even the change barrels make a lot less sense than they should. Worst is having a (slow-) thumb hole stock and then adding a (quick-) straight pull. Absolutely pointless.
Pass for me. I like simple.

I don't understand why they have differentiated the twist rate between the US and Europe. I would prefer a 1-10 .30 over the 1-11, where does this "europeans prefer" nonsense come from? last time I checked we have the shift to lead-free just like some states in the US too.
Also having handled the BRX, where Beretta really need to focus their improvement efforts on is the stock - I have handled Ikea tupperware with better strength/stability/feel that their current offerings, granted it sounds like the aftermarket are working on cool solutions.

Put an adjustable comb and length of pull on guns. Not that hard and certainly makes them easier to use.

R8s are absolutely prolific in Europe. They're everywhere. And this is competing for that market. NOT your average (I suppose) cheapo American hunter.
