1st time I've heard this one by Pat Boone. I'm familiar with the Do Re Me version by Tom Glaser and his Chorus Kids. They would play it when I was in the 5th grade back in 1968. It was my favorite song from those kids records cos it Rocked. The beat to that song was a bit early 60's beat. Similar to Del Shannon, Brian Hyland, and Gene Pitney type of beat. For being a kids song it Rocked verging on a Mersey Beat sound. They would tell us not to bring Rock and Roll records to school. Because it was against school policy. When the teacher asked which one of the kids records we wanted to hear. I would raise my hand cos it was this one. I guess my classmates didn't have a passion for Rock Music. This one by Pat Boone is a great song.
I actually won a copy of this on a 45 RPM from a radio station. Actually, I won about ten discs I think and this was one of them.
This is awesome!
