The Tren-Dells - Love

From 1967 on Boss Records comes this version of Love, the classic song originally done by The Bad Boys on Paula and covered by the Corners Four on Philips, with each of the 3 versions containing the exact same backing track. My favorite version is by the Bad Boys from Frederick, Maryland, who would soon change their name to Flavor and have a hit with the song Sally Had A Party, but this version by Louisville, Kentucky's Tren-Dells comes in a close second. Variations on a theme by Bobby Bland. Concur that the Bad Boys' version remains the definitive one. But this rendition is pretty impressive in its own right.
