    These are adorable! I've never knit anything besides scarves and beanies since I'm intimidated by anything else, but these look very doable!

    Omg! I love your tutorial! I've never been very good at knitting (I only learned the basics, but always felt doing something like cabeling was way too daunting!) but your tutorial helped a ton!

    Question: shouldn't there be another purl row after row 31, before you start on the pattern repeat? If you just go straight into repeating row 13, your cables are going to end up on the opposite end of the work, won't they?

    Megan, thank you so much for taking the time to put this beautiful pattern together and filming it for us! I just love them.
    I noticed though that there may be a typo on the written pattern (where it repeats) and the repeat should read “Repeat rows 13-21” (instead of rows 11-19). After a few goes, I repeated rows 13-21 and it worked out beautifully!
    Thanks again!! 😊

      Crocheting and knitting do not look the same at all, but your best stitch to mimic this with crocheting would be the Keltic stitch.

    First off, I absolutely love your videos. But there's something I want to point out. I'm on row 15 for this project and the instructions in your blog say k24, CF4, CB4, K4,CF4, CB4, k2. That adds up to 46 stitches when you originally cast on 48 stitches. I was hoping you could clear that up. Thank you, again love your channel, I actually made the hat you did a video on. I wear it all the time!!!!!

      +Michael Putorti Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for pointing that out! I just updated the pattern, but certainly let me know if there are still typos! I'm so glad you like the hat, as well!

      +Megan Breitweser Hi again. I just finished knitting and I am so happy with the way these turned out!!!! They look amazing!!!!! I was really happy about this project because I'm also making the infinity scarf from your previous tutorial. I was a little nervous about cabling, I'm still pretty new at this (2 months). Now, thanks to you and this project I'm comfortable with cabling and can't wait to finish the scarf. Well, once I buy more yarn haha. Thank you for the great videos and I can't wait for the next one!!!! Have a great night!!!!!

    After row 31 it says to repeat rows 11-19 is this correct?

    • @jteem6
      @jteem6 6 лет назад

      Kelly Jones, I think it should have read “After row 31 repeat rows 13-21” (I repeated rows 13-21 (instead of 11-19) and it worked).

      jteem6 did you do a purl row after row 31?

  • @mildasingh6030
    @mildasingh6030 6 лет назад +3

    I was knitting these mittens and have noticed a that the pattern isn't fully correct. Row 18 shouldn't be only a purl row, it should include CB4 and CF4 (I don't remember by heart at which place exactly, I think it should go something like p8, CB4, p4, CF4, p28, just instead of knitting CB4 and CF4 should be purled), otherwise the ornament doesn't have a smooth transition between rows 17 and 19 (which is even visible in the mittens shown in video). I assume analogical modifications would have to be made in row 28 as well. But this unfortunately messes up the rest of the pattern, so it should be adjusted, and I'm currently trying to work on it.

    The most confusing tutorial I have ever watched. Needless to say I won’t be using any techniques shown. There was too much rambling that felt like wasted time. Perhaps there was not enough prep time before making the video. I hope future videos are worked and done on camera to test the steps. Definition needs to be more professional. Good luck. Everyone has to learn.
