So it's time to wrap this all up. At the Title Screen, after getting the 5 gold stars, we can use a code to unlock more things to do, just like Battle Network 3 back in the day. So first, you hold L and then tap the S Comp Star, G Comp Star, S Comp Star, M Comp Star, SS Star, SS Star, and the Center Star to unlock the Sigma Bosses. Then you hold L and tap the G Comp Star, M Comp Star, M Comp Star, SS Star, G Comp Star, S Comp Star, and the Center Star to unlock a fight with Rogue ZZ.
Now Rogue ZZ is located in the Orbital Base, inside the Meteor G Control Comp. Unlike Rogue SX in Star Force 2, there's no drastic change to his pattern here, he just has a lot more health and hits harder. But if you beat him, you get a Silver Star on the title. Next is the Sigma bosses. There's 3 in total you have to find: Sirius, Moon Destroyer, and Apollo Flame. Sigma bosses are random encounters, but they don't appear with a warning like V3s do. All you have to do is beat them all once and you are granted the Sigma Star on the title. But of course, it wouldn't be a Battle Network or Star Force game without a powered up version of the final boss. Crimson Dragon SP is available after you get the 5 Gold Stars on the title but it's more fitting to save it for last. Beating Crimson Dragon is the last thing needed for your "All Complete" screen. You're also granted a Wallpaper item for your bottom screen.
Now, here's where things get cut short. There's one more Silver Star on the title, however it is no longer able to be acquired. To get it, you would need to have 20 battles in a row on the WiFi Network. After that, you would have the chance to encounter a boss the next time you search. Said boss would be either Acid Ace BB or Dread Joker RR. Beat one, and you get the final star. After you have all 8, then one more challenge would appear in the Outer Astro Wave: Crimson Dragon Sigma, and much like the other Sigmas, he's a random encounter. However since we can't get that last star, we can't fight him.
But this concludes Mega Man Star Force 3, as well as being the last mainline Mega Man game we needed to cover on this channel...for now anyway. In the future, I'll definitely cover more of the spinoffs as well as some fangames out there as well, but for now....I'll see you all in Mega Man 11.

@@zxtempo It's not just OSS alone that didn't sell well. Both Shooting Star 3/SF3 and OSS weren't well received in sales to warrant a sequel. And for good reason too. OSS was just another lazy BN1 with an added side plot from SS3/SF3 and SSRockman as a playable character. Other than that, everything is LITERALLY the same... And SS3/SF3's plot was basically just another, "save the world from impending doom with the power of friendship" cliché... Even the ending is the same cop-out from the first game where Subaru/Geo is stuck in space and he needs the 'power of friendship' to save him... Returning characters and new characters featured in the third game were either useless and boring. *Looking at you team luna and Dealers...* 3D gameplay is inferior compared to BN's more diverse 2D style. Plus, BN had better story and interesting characters.
Everything aside, I don't know how the 4th sequel for SS/SF was going to work anyway. Considering the original premise was going to be about how Subaru/Geo is a wanted criminal working with Netto/Lan's descendant, despite the fact it has already been well established that Subaru/Geo is a renowned hero that has saved the world THREE TIMES already... Either that, or WAZA and the Satella Police has been completely corrupted from the inside.
@@Evil_Beauty while you could argue that BN has the better gameplay with its 2D grid perspective. Story wise and characters I think SF wins in that category, there’s so much more development, enjoyable and sad moments, as well as more interesting characters especially with how Geo developes as a person. And if I’m going to be completely honest BN’s Stories don’t really get much more deep and interesting after BN3. BN4’s plot is just a giant filler arc, 5 is just “save your father from the villain” (AND ITS THE SAME ONE FROM BEFORE!), and 6 (while it had more enjoyable moments and a solid a enough plot) still wasn’t as dark and deep as BN3. Mean while in SF, you got a game about a kid going through depression, people having their emotions being taken over by aliens, and some people straight up FUCKING dying like good god. SF3 was their last resort to keep the series alive and they definitely went all out with this one (and man was it a good one.) unfortunately due to the over saturation of BN and the first two SF games even a masterpiece like SF3 wasn’t enough to keep the series alive. At the end of the day though BN and SF are both great games in their own ways even if they were getting poor receptions. And SF3 was the conclusion we all needed so even if SF4 never happens I would be just fine with that.
@@MegaBomberZX you're overexaggerating SS/SF a bit there bud. There's a reason why BN had SIX titles compared to SS/SF's three subpar games. Especially with the third game being literally the worse of the bunch that didn't warrant a 4th sequel. The ending was literally another, "Subaru/Geo is stuck in space and needs the 'power of friendship' to help him return back to earth", the SAME ending as the FIRST GAME! Smfh. And let's not forget the cis that is of Jack and Tia abandoning their plans to destroy all EM technology just because of a few words Subaru/Geo said to them to make them change their minds, like that...
And if you wanna talk about interesting characters, luna and her crew were by far the most USELESS and LAMEST of them all. And for the very simple fact at how fake ALL of them were to Subaru/Geo when they finally found out his secret identity being Rockman/Megaman, the kid they despised. They only offer to form Brotherbands with him because he so happens to be the hero that saved their worthless a**es. That's just outright sucking up to the kid because he's cooler than them. And now they want to be friends? Lol, nah brah. Total cis.
And let's not forget some honorable mentions of the most forgettable characters in this series to add onto to the list, yeah? Like that guy who had major trust issues with literally the worst EM Wave Change in terms of design. Or that gardener that can turn into a wolf and didn't make any important appearances until the THIRD GAME! Or that kid with split personality disorder that we never heard from again over the span of TWO GAMES! Or let's talk about the edge lord that is Solo hating the 'power of friendship' just because of how he was mistreated and forever wants to beat Subaru/Geo for literally having NOTHING to do with his mistreatment. I can literally go on and on about how the SS/SF characters are by far the WORST compared to BN's characters. But that would take too long. And this is coming from someone who is a fan of SS/SF more than BN. The overall tone of SS/SF was too lighthearted, the characters were mediocre, and Subaru/Geo's emo character was what Japanese fans didn't like about him compared to Netto/Lan.
I was happy to have 100% completed this game as well, Rest in peace Nintendo DS/3DS you had a good run.

@@paanazmi8062 If I remember correctly it should be possible to do so (I may be wrong, I did have both Black Ace and Red Joker) I did Black Ace under normal means (No cheat device) and got 100% completion, it was NOT EASY.

It’s very Sad that Capcom couldn’t have made the last star accessible in a different way.. heck, at least allow it to be earned through local as well but WiFi only..? I have the last star and beaten CrimsonDragon Sigma but I got my friend Black Ace recently and now he can’t truly 100% it
there was no better way to deal the finishing blow to crimson dragon than with a “black end galaxy”. that was so satisfying and poetic
Thank you so macho MegaQuint for uploading these walkthroughs with no commentary, HD quality, and humorous editing & footnotes. I can relive my childhood memories of Star Force and other awesome Mega Man series.
I was just thinking the same thing! My copy of SF2 in particular I was never able to recover (I had my saves backed up but never got another copy of 2 to put it on) so it is awesome to be able to watch these videos and relive some fun memories of playing through these awesome games. 3 was something special, it's such a shame they didn't get to do more with the series after this

These Star Force Games need to be remastered or re released for the Switch. And Star Force 4 be brought out of development hell and finished.
Capcom won’t advertise them most likely, so it would be up to us to spread the word and bring people to walkthroughs like yours, if enough money is made from the 7 games, the 4th chapter will be seen as profitable, meaning Capcom will finish it.

@@manoftruth0935 it's never going to happen, unfortunately. The overall series just isn't profitable. Not to mention, not the most appealing demographic wise to be remade. And who can blame crapcom. Three straight games of oversaturated 'power of friendship' cliche crap... Not to mention, the Shooting Star games aren't that great compared to BN's more interesting characters, diverse gameplay, and quality storytelling.
Played through all SF 1,2,3, and I nvr knew that after the main story has ended there are more things to do. After 10+ years later, at least now I know.

Crapcom seriously needs to properly conclude this series... They can't just announce a 4th game 'n NOT complete it... And the 4th game ties w/ BN's original timeline. So ALL the more reason to properly finish it...
'Ya know, I've always thought for an EM being that can control sounds Harp Note would have a noise form in this game... Or, at the very least, a boss battle with the power of noise that change/buff her moveset. Such wasted opportunity to do more with Harp Note... They just gotta make her the sidechic for everything plot-related/important...

I want it as much as the next person but unfortunately it was confirmed canceled. I truly hope they take another look at this series and know that it still has a very dedicated fanbase.
@@Kt-hp7cv a dedicated fanbase isn't what determines whether this series get a sequel or not. Sales do. And unfortunately, both the third Shooting Star game and OSS flopped as a whole. And I really can't blame crapcom for it. The Shooting Star games were horribly bad compared to its predecessors in literally every way possible for it get another sequel. Everything this series does BN does it better. From characters, to gameplay, and even to story. And this is coming from someone who like the Shooting Star series as much as the next person and see potential in it. But that alone isn't going to change the numbers of how poorly underrated the series is.
I hope someday capcom can make Megaman starforce 4 but with Geo already grow up and in senior high school

@@black_geo0034 if OSS is anything to count as, it's pretty much already confirmed that Misora/Sonia is Subaru/Geo's gf. No guy would risk getting his existence wiped from history by traveling back in time to save someone important to him if he didn't already love the person. Rest assured. Misora x Subaru is already canon, there are WAY too many obvious hints for it not to be.

The MegaMan Starforce Games is one of the games i wish to be better at only if i can afford a Nintendo DS. Back then by SF3's Game Release, I Was just a newborn baby since 2008. Back then, My only Games i played was a Pokémon from someone's Nintendo DS and Starfall from Office Computers.

Funny enough i had an opportunity to get the last star for acid ace BB. I had just finished a fight and was suddenly thrown into a boss battle ageinst this man. I was like "Yo WTF is this I AM NOT READY" died in like 30secs never saw him again.

I noticed you didn't unlock the other doors. Did you do the r bosses in 12 seconds? I'm at a point now where similarly I cannot get the final star but my last door is the omega pieces and was wondering if you have done or know anything about them. Sorry for very late comment I love this game so much I'm getting around to FCing it and just camping rogue zz for original 3 am beings gigas.
