    I just purchased one this evening, they had 6 left. Its my first Oris and I'm very impressed. Just what I was looking for - casual for around town but formal enough for most dressy occasions. Rob at Toppers was great and explained the concept and idea behind the watch. 40mm is a perfect size and it seems thin enough to fit under long sleeves no problem. The rubber strap looks amazing (carbon fiber like).

    Thanks for reviewing this. I got mine a few months ago and was a little worried about 40mm being too big for my skinny wrists. After wearing it for about a week, I realized that 40mm is the perfect size for me for a sport watch. I've been wearing it exclusively on the tropical strap and it's so dope. While I feel that this is a casual sports watch, I wore it once to a wedding with a suit and it wasn't all that out of place. That steel around the bezel def dresses it up a bit. But let's be real, the star of this show is that double domed crystal. Looking at it never gets old.

      40mm ends up being a sweet spot for a lot of people. Glad yours is getting a lot of wear.

    Russ and Rob are good people. I purchased my Grand Seiko from Topper. Great buying experience!

    Bring back Zack and these reviews! I enjoy listening to the perspective of a graphic designer. Saying "typeface" instead of "font" gave it away

    They should have retained the date as it is functionally good to have as no one is really using it for diving. The decision to move the Swiss made to the bottom is basically a great idea....Oris should have thought about that in their original design. I have the standard Oris model and with this blue dial on the rubber strap and it is gorgeous. Having picked it new from an AD for around 1100 USD is good value.

    Great video! Really highlights all the subtle differences. I like the black bezel on the original, but outside of that the changes they made were all big improvements. Hopefully I can find one of these on the market one day!

    the beautiful thing about this watch is it looks just as sick on a bracelet as it does on a leather, nato strap.

    Keep the date. Make 200 meters and print 200 meters 660 feet on dial.

    Tried a regular 65 on the other day. Too small. Wish they made this watch in 42mm. I'd be all over it.

      Funny, I also tried one the other day and wished it was slightly smaller, 38mm would have been perfect for me with its vintage vibe. One of my small dislikes was the date although tastefully done, so this version would be preferred.

      Way overpriced. Even the normal edition is over priced. The bezels are not solid, they have play. Sellita SW200....good movement but a clone of an ETA. Too much money

    On the contrary 100m is not enough, shower head or jumping into a pool will exceed those kind of pressures. No point in doing a REAL divers watch without real diving resistance (200m iso). This an sporty homage watch.

    • @alessandrocerioli2151
      @alessandrocerioli2151 7 лет назад +2

      The ISO standard says minimum 100 mt. And the story that you can't have a shower with a 10 bar watch is bullocks.

      On the contrary someone actually used this for an actual diving in the ocean and never have a problem with it. It is more than enough. search the review in youtube.
