  • I'm coming at you from the vibrant streets of Lampang, Thailand. Man, it's been a wild ride exploring this incredible city, but tonight's a special one. It's my last night here, and you know we're gonna make it count!
First off, i head to one of Lampang’s favorite budget restaurants. Aroy One Baht is a firm favorite in Lampang and i can see why. Next, we're diving headfirst into the heart of Lampang's weekend night market walking street! First up, we're checking out the cultural Friday market, where the locals keep it real with their traditions and flavors. This ain't your typical tourist trap, folks - this is where the real magic happens. From street performances to traditional crafts, we're soaking up the culture like sponges!
But that's not all, we're hitting you up with that Saturday heat at Kad Konta walking street! 🔥 The Saturday market is where the party's at, and we're diving into the sea of street vendors, funky finds, and the craziest street food you've ever seen. It's a foodie paradise.
I've had a blast in Lampang, and you best believe I'm gonna be back for more adventures in the future.

Lovely to see you enjoying Lampang. We used to go to aroy hnung baht all the time, those meatballs are laab tord, fried laab - and one of our favourite things to order when we go there, though to be honest you'd be hard pushed to find something not really tasty there. Nice to see Kad Kong ta again, some great food to be had (the kannom jeen opposite the fancy house is well worth eating).
In terms of souvenirs, Lampang is the pottery centre of Thailand, with a long long history of pottery production. Super cheap and high quality. The bowls you see in the vast majority of thai restaurants (with the chicken on) are all from Lampang

The meatballs was super nice! I really liked Aroy One Baht, great food for a cheap price. Yes, I was reading about ceramics and chicken bowls in the Museum. I really enjoyed Lampang. Thanks.

Have you seen the silver temple in chiang Mai? It’s south of old town , not very far. Interesting look.. you should do a vid on motorcycle/ car teaching school . It’s on big tree road. Also there is a group who meet in a field in the area and play croquet.

Loving the novelty name in reference to the one baht for the rice. I'd say the meal rounded off to 50 baht means the rice is 'included'. The name no doubt works but, of course, the grub has to meet the standard at the end of the day to draw in the masses. It clearly does. Again the number of Thais that speak English is astounding. I reckon the younger locals are all well educated to speak some English through their schools. All the oldies are likely like us with speaking Thai - basically useless 😂🤣😂 Nice night market there and good to see the well paved walking area and no trip hazards, the downside, no where to sit down, even to have a rest let alone a feed. Every Thai in Lampang at that market mate. Probably all stocking up on groceries for the upcoming week. Nice video as always Wayne. Cheers buddy. 🍻🤩

Cheers mate! It's been a good trip in Lampang. The rice was meant to be one Baht and the meal came to 55, so not sure, I think the rice was 5 Baht. All in all a top few days . Back to Chiang Mai for a couple weeks. Thanks mate 👍

The sound of 1 baht brings them in from the beginning; psychology. There is someone who understands the hardest business to succeed in; the restaurant. I like their faux stone cement there on that street. Lampang is about the population of the town I was born in.
