Hi David. Awesome video! Glad to see people of christian faith out here! God Bless you and your family! Can i recommend you something in regards to your winch set-up? I would run a separate tow-truck grade jump-start cable from the battery under the hood, to the back of your bumper of your truck. Then, other separate connection would be from the winch on the trailer, to thr bumper of your truck. That way, when u winch these pigs in, you wont ever run out of juice. Also, if u need to jumo start any of your toys or such, u wouldnt have to open the hood. Just connect the jumper cables to the rear bumper connection on your truck and thats it. Works like a charm. I have my setup for the dump trailer. Pay my ticket out there and i would do it for you no problem. I can send you pics of my setup as well if you want. God Bless you brother! Keep on hoggin

@@sharkkillag2456I definitely get nervous dealing with a boar that size, even in a trap things can go wrong. I have had them jump out and break through/bust a weld on the trap. 200-300 lbs are the most dangerous, any bigger and you could probably out run em, but that size they are still fast.

    • @Kangenpower7

I would suggest mounting a pulley in the middle of the light bar so the pull will be from higher up. Yes, this would require some reinforcement of the light bar, but it would make loading the dead pigs much easier as they wouldn't get caught where the tailgate meets the trailer bed. A larger winch would also allow more pigs being able to be loaded at once, making the loading operation much easier and quicker. Some 2x2 square stock would easily reinforce the lightbar and any welder worth his salt could design the bracing with fairly minimal materials required. Just sayin'.

You asked the percentage. Let me share an easy way to do this. I don’t like the 18/19 problem, but I do like a similar problem 19/20, better and the answer has to be about the same. I like this problem (20/20 - 1/20) even better. 20/20 is 100%. So the even better problem is (100% - 1/20). The best liked problem is just a bit reorganized, to make math easier (100% - (1/2 of 1/10)), as 1/20 is just half of 1/10. This is (100% - 1/2 of 10%). This is (100% - 5%), or 95%.
Now, for the icing on the math problem, (one less than 19) is smaller than (one less than 100), or (1 less than 20), so the “real” answer is perhaps 93-94%.
My calculator says 94.7%, so perhaps my math icing was a bit thick.
Lots faster in my head than typing this out.
I help people with math and share this just in case it helps someone.

That sounder has been eating good! Almost looks like a good bit of domestic mixed in til you notice them long skinny legs. My first thought was that hes gotta be 300+ lbs. Even them pigs are CHONKS. Great catch!!!

Been watching your channel for a couple of years when i saw the damage the hogs were doing to the country side. Thank you for your content. Many Blessing to you and your family. I have a question that has probably been asked but i have not seen the answer. What do you do with the Hogs after they are put down.

You need a short tow strap and a snatch block on that top rail to help get the pigs on the trailer easier with a better angle for pulling

Percentage is calculated by: Part(number of hogs caught) divided by whole(the total number of hog) times 100.
    (18/19)*100=94.73%

Dude! That is ridiculous! It's been awhile since you caught a beast like that. I was beginning to think you were finally putting some serious pressure on the stock. These animals just seem to be fertilized by your efforts. 😂 Unbelievable!
