Move your aileron, watch and listen while doing so. Make sure it is moving smoothly with out binding or any scraping or squeaks.
I'll give that a try!
NO GO in a real Comanche to cut throttle completely on landing. Always land her with a bit of power on. Thx, great vid as always.
Also if you have been towing the plane check the tow bar is removed before starting the engine or you will get the shock of your life 😂
Ohhhhh yes 😂
Ha noticed the rear tie down as soon as you forgot it. It gets special attention from me because of doing exactly that on my first flight lol
haha, I never forgot a tie down, but I did miss a nose-wheel chock. And this was after having my PPL already. CFI didn't say a word until I started the plane and noticed it wouldn't move as we started to taxi. Those are the type of mistakes that you only make ONCE..😂
This airplane continues to amaze me, what an airplane!! This is every flight simmer dream come true!! Great video as always! Thanks 737NG!
Awesome flight on this hyperealistic Piper Comanche, I love analogue gauges, more so than the modern glass cockpits, Thank You I felt I was on a flight with a professional flight instructor. Thank you again
That was MiG29 Fulcrum @Airport :) Good stuff, great video as always.
So realistic. Thank you. Wunderbar!
Great video! I love this little airplane.
Your videos are simply Amazing and I took the comanche up today to do some airwork woow it spins and stalls and one has to actually fly this plane.
A2A's Comanche in FSX was my favorite GA aircraft. I moved on to X-plane 11 last year, and X-plane 12 last week. Really wish Scott would produce this for X-plane.
Then come to msfs? I don’t see why not, much better scenery you actually feel your in the real world flying. This plane is much better then most planes i flown in xplane so you won’t be disappointed
Love the D-ELAY registration number. A2A has a sense of humor. I wonder if they have a Comanche based out at the Isle of Man, with an M-EL registration.. 🙂
A2A does not control the registration, you do. My Comanche is CG-DUM, I chose that. You specify the registration in the MSFS settings...
@@Gilles45 Ah, great! That's even better!
Thanks! Some nice real world registrations I saw over the time...
D-ICKS
D-ILDO
G-SPOT
There's much more!
Now fly those on VATSIM. Guaranteed way to get banned for doing real life ops.
@@A330Driver😂😂😂
I did enjoy it. Thank you.
Hehe first comment :)
Love your channel mate! Always love watching your content!
Thank you!
Great flight. Thank you.
I know alot of people say this is the best GA aircraft for MSFS but I think the Milviz/blackbird Cessna 310R is up there.
Really great video.
That green panel....!! Was it designed in the USSR?
Reminds me of my VFR flying in the late '70s and early '80s... except I used paper charts of course! 😉
Hello sir, as usual, very nice stream, how you get green board in cokpit ? mine is white ! lol
Another super video
D-ELAY 😂
Is there a plug in or something that lets me get that ipad app in my real life ipad?
I have forgotten that rear tiedown MULTIPLE times
Just tried to use A2A's built in updater for MSFS. Malware detected. Might have to re-install. Sucks if so, because I already had the aircraft configured the way I wanted it. Might open up a tech support thing on their forums later in the week.
I’m not a huge fan of GA in the simulator, but I’m almost on the buy button with this one.
It's really worth giving it a try, the Comanche is amazing. The best GA aircraft out there these days, that's for sure.
Yep I’m on holidays, so in a couple of weeks when I’m back. Good to go over my VFR lessons again. Actually I never tried VFR on vatsim, maybe it’s about time.
Parking brake now have a bug with the update 1.1😕
brake
Not the only bug they added, hopefully they will get a hotfix out to fix what they broke.
Jonathan Beckett ran into that one in his latest video. Very annoying bug.
Also a radio control issue. When I tune ATIS, then back to tower, the ATIS keeps playing. It’s weird since the radios are tuned to a different frequency.
What's the bug?
Is it really such a great idea to completely ignore a cylinder head temperature warning?
I mean I do when I’m climbing from takeoff, or it happens during run up sometimes. Not a huge deal long as it’s not too high or high for too long.
As Victor said, under these conditions it's okay. For takeoff and climb power the limit is higher. If it was continously on during cruise I'd get worried.
Update is Wunderbar but finding it on the website isn't exactly easy to find.
The plane comes with an update tool though, that should make your life easier.
@@A330Driver got the update basically re download the package
got it
Why did you choose to fly on one tank only? Why not use both from take off to landing?
You obviously have not read the Comanche manual... Like on the Bonanza, proper procedure is to alternate fuel tanks. And if you have tip tanks installed, you use them first and then the wing tanks.
@@Gilles45 In case of having the tip tanks installed, should this fuel be used for ignition, taxi and takeoff? or should tip tanks only be used in straight and level flight?
@@pablod1978 That is not specified in the manual. Personally I take off on one of the main tanks and only switch to the tip tanks in cruise. Just feels better doing it this way.
Looks like a Mig 29 sitting there. lol Not sure.
I’m trying to like flying this, and MSFS, after 100s of hours in the XP SF260, but the landing physics in the game are very numb, as you see in your landing, you can basically let go of your yoke at 10ft and the plane lands safe. Your landing has an instant grip of the tyre making a weird jolt movement which just doesn’t feel right.
The Comanche uses a custom flight model that is completely independent of the MSFS one and it is highly praised by real pilots. So what on earth are you talking about?
I never flew the Comanche in real life, but I have many hours in the Cherokee 140, Warrior and Archer. This aircraft feels right to me. One thing you need to consider is that landings in a desktop simulator will always be the most difficult part of any flight.
@@victoraatg X-Plane fans like to think they are flight model experts even when they have no real flying experience
@@victoraatg Yes, I have many hours in various GA aircraft I. Real life, held a glider license in the past too. Fly DCS mostly and XP11. The landing physics and tire grip physics in slight crosswinds could be improved in MSFS, that’s pretty well known in the community. Any game designed to be flown in external view with an XBOX controller isnt going to excel in that department, I hope it’s improved in the new sim.
Hehe, this is actually the first plane I've actually crashed on landing in a flight sim in a long, long time simply because I got lazy and a crosswind tipped me at the last moment when I wasn't prepared to compensate. I'm not a pilot but did take a half-dozen flying lessons in a Cessna 152 a while back, and can confidently say that landing in this simulation at least produces nervousness that comes much closer to what I experienced IRL than any other I've tried so far.
If I had to rate this plane it would be something like 3.5/5, no more. IFR capability are definitively too bad for such plane in comparaison with other planes.
You can compare it with, for example, The Black Square's Bonanza who has full IFR capability, better speed and other good things and you'll see you can do less flight with the Comanche.
