The number of international art fairs doubled in the past decade. Art dealers say they make half of annual sales at art fairs. But are the art fairs worth your money and time? If you are small and mid-sized galleries, or independent artists, probably art fairs aren't good for you. Do this instead!

Thank you for creating this video! I think your advice is greatly useful and provides broader options to artists.
One thing I think that's important to consider before investing time and money into digital marketing and establishing online presence is to conduct market research and know your audience/target market properly. I'm currently working on art promotion online, but I'm also planning to join one or two art fairs to connect with people and art agents/dealers, etc. I think in person presence could also boost your online presence, so I'm trying to do pretty much every available way to navigate the art career path and see where it takes the art business.
