Well you know Florida people are a little special 😂. Especially according to what Charlemagne be saying on the breakfast club show. He said the craziest people come from the Bronx and all of Florida. I like the new elevator music.
I commute on I four between Lakeland and Tampa five days a week for work to, and from. I know that interstate quite well, and it is very dangerous! You must always pay attention to what you’re doing on interstate four believe me!
Thanks so much for going through this great effort. My first interstate driving was I-4 just north of Orlando. Many trips from one end to the other from late 60s through 90s. Most of it now is unrecognizable. I especially appreciate it when you say something. Your voice is pitch perfect but by far most important is what you say is full of very useful information even when humor is used. Have friends who visited and drove from Disney area to Clearwater Beach using I-4 around last Christmas and yeah it was a nightmare for them. As ususal you are spot on.
8:09 malfunction junction in Tampa is one of the worst parts of I-4 but used to be much worse when I went through there every day before they fixed it. That's the junction of I-4 and I-75 which I used to have to deal with on my daily commutes from Lakeland to Tampa or Clearwater doing my clinicals Back in 93 94 and 95 when I was going to college at Hillsborough Community College to get my degree in nuclear medicine and there were wrecks every day both coming and going with the commuter Rush I hated it so bad I did not even attend graduation I told them to mail me my diploma because if I didn't have to drive there one more day I was good with that
9:16 Orlando is a little piece of California plopped down in the middle of Florida inhabited mostly by people who aren't from here and most of us who are don't claim it. I certainly would never live there. Tampa is much better but I like it right here where I'm at in Lakeland where I just finished a 30-year mortgage and plan on living here till I die
25:48 we do road construction at night as best we can but even then it's very difficult to close Lanes in order to expand so road construction is an ongoing thing the logistics of which is very difficult to work out
Like you Chris, I'm from the metro Detroit area, but I've lived near Deltona, FL for nearly 10 years and even though I've become accustomed to all of the mindless fools that drive in the area, I still have to deal with anxiety from driving in the area on a daily basis.
i read all the comments and since no one mentioned it i thought i should tell you it is disney world in florida. Disney land in California. Otherwise a good video. If possible maybe a longer narration for the whole video would be cool
I’ve driven on I-4 in Florida before and there is one route I think is even worse M-39 or Southfield Freeway in Detroit is the most dangerous road I’ve ever driven on. The road is full of potholes, many people swerve going 100+ in a 55 zone, lanes are very narrow and there is someone hogging the left lane going 45. I-4 near Disney is pretty bad; but nothing comes close to M-39 (M-10 is pretty bad too because the narrow roads and no shoulder with a huge wall)
