Your pros and cons of Simpsonville were excellent and it is most sppreciated because my family has been searching for a home in the area near Greenville. Your excellent coverage of Simpsonville gave us much food for thought. A job well done is praise well received. THANK YOU! 😊
I live in Simpsonville and this is a pretty accurate depiction. I would add there are a lot of new homes being built but also plenty of older neighborhoods to chose from with amenities like pools walking trails
Thank you for watching the videos and leaving a comment. I'm glad to hear that you felt like it was a good depiction of Simpsonville. That's a great point that there's a mix of neighborhood types too.
Thank you for your response. I always appreciate suggestions. I made this video a little over a year ago, and I’m not sure much of the content would change if I did a new video. Is there anything in particular you are looking to learn about Simpsonville that you didn’t get from this video?
As far as the home/apartment pricing in Simpsonville being very affordable, this is the complete opposite of reality in this area of the country. Other than certain pockets of Greenville, Simpsonville is known other than certain pockets of Greenville, the cost to live in Simpsonville is *_incredibly_* high. I've lived here since 1992 (four different locations in the city), and yeah, it's expensive. The value of my house when I got it built was $163,000 in 2013...now it's valued at $338,000. *But yeah, if you're comparing the pricing to the bigger city costs where all the foreigners (anyone that's not a Southerner) that keep mass-migrating here came from...then yes, it's affordable with their kind of money.
Thank you for sharing your feedback and for watching the channel. When we look at metrics nationally, Simpsonville and the other surrounding areas of Greenville are still more affordable than the national average. There is also data on how affordable a place is for local citizens and Greenville still is more affordable with wages and home prices compared to a lot of other places in the country. High inflation in the past few years has certainly impacted affordability in our area and really in the entire country. The amazing thing is that you made the wise financial decision to purchase in 2013, and now you own a home that has doubled in value, and even if you don't sell it, you've locked in a monthly payment, and you have the ability to use your equity in other ways if you ever choose to do so. Thank you again for watching.

Isn’t Woodruff Road in Greenville not Simpsonville?
Half of Woodruff Rd has a Greenville address, and the other half has a Simpsonville address. The area is called 5 Forks.
