Been living in Greenville since 2018 and its really more for the type of people who make 6 figures a year vs Spartanburg is the normal style of people, the crime says it’s bad but I’ve been all over that county and you’d never know the crime was bad unless you go into those certain neighborhoods

We're building a baseball field in Spartanburg right now. Something to look forward to in about a year and a half.

In November, 2023, the voters of Spartanburg County approved a penny sales tax for road repairs. It takes effect in May, 2024. This is not a new tax but a repurposing a penny sales tax that was approved in 2017 for the new courthouse, 911 center, city police headquarters and city hall. A new baseball stadium and mixed use development is under construction in downtown Spartanburg and is due to be completed next year. The city is expecting this to jumpstart revitalization of downtown Spartanburg

Spartanburg also has an expanding network of walking/biking trails. One of the trails was expanded through the downtown area last year with the first curb protected bike lanes in the state. Another trail was expanded to the site of a former grist mill with a dam and waterfall located 5 minutes from the downtown area. Last week, plans were announced for a new park next to Glendale Shoals being referred to as Central Park.

I was considering a move to Spartanburg from Clearwater Florida for a job offer with a local company. After doing my research about the Spartanburg and the company I decided against the move. Obviously the guy in this video is not going to say anything too harsh about the city. Just do your research
