D&D is hell of a lot of fun. Start with 5e. And don't try and do wierd builds like this until you are VERY familiar with how the game works. Remeber that D&D is also a roleplay experience so its not just all numbers and combat.
the way most things work stays the same between whatever classes you choose to play as, and features essentially will give you a few new options or make you better at certain things. most of the time youll be rolling dice and adding numbers to it to see how well (or poorly) you do something
Dude, Bladelock was right there. This build could slim down considerably just by taking one level in Bladelock and using that for its spells over Eldritch Knight, or even Sorcerer.
This was interesting, However couldn't you also use Hexblade warlock with say... Paladin; though I guess College of sword bard could work too. I mean... the Keyblade (at least according to kh1) was a sentient weapon that chose Sora, you would have the freedom of focusing your stats into Charisma, Dex' and Con,' since Charisma can help you attack with your weapon. Paladin would also give you a good mix of attacks, and any "Smites" are just some of your Special attacks like Arc Arcanum. Also Enough Levels in Paladin, allow you to use your power to give your friends strength. Another way of building Sora I think.. However I haven't given the hard numbers, so it might not be the most effective.
He did a hexblade with Riku but it’d be hard to handle Sora’s magic affinity with 2-4 spells per rest (warlocks are definitely not egregiously underpowered considered they’re bonded with eldritch beings)
Sora gets his power from a semi-sentient magic weapon that grants him spells and that he can summon at will. He 100% should be built as a hexblade Warlock.

@@sirdk1234 I made custom, couple turn forms that focus on different things of the build. I think having the DM work your backstory into the main story would be awesome in this case. Imagine playing as Roxas or a Nobody and it is revealed to your character and the party that you are the half of a hero who saved the world but in order for him to come back your soul must return to him to be made whole. Then end up having the character actually be revived and the legendary hero joins your party, a different person, but sometimes feels the same. This would also be a good way to bring up other opportunities like having 2 of the bosses you've defeated along the way and than have them also form to make the main boss. Let alone the concept and consequences of death with this system would change dramatically too
My only suggested change would be to take the Two Weapon Fighting style at 1st level Fighter instead of Great Weapon Fighting. This combos better with the Dual Wielder feat taken later and Sora is (IIRC) able to use Valor form (the red outfit from KH2 that does dual wielding) early on in the game it appears in.
I honestly expected a Celestial Warlock for both his healing spells and the fact that the keyblade can transform as you play. Not to mention the invocations of alter self which could attest to his adapting to each world and such.
I'm glad that you taking that time to write down the stats of the characters of kingdom hearts and all the other ones that you put on this channel but I do have a request I like to ask. We're definitely not done with Disney, Kingdom Hearts and Marvel. And Darkwing Duck is something I wouldn't have thought of, but LOVE. Same with the Gargoyles. Thanks for the suggestions!
I'd say that it'd be really easy to fix up that specialization issue... Sora has to use magical powers to spec into dual wielding, so you could easily have him use two handed weapons OR dual wielding depending on the player build.
I would say he's more of a Warlock with Pact of Blades then a Fighter. As for what kind of warlock, I would say Celestial fits or maybe Hexblade, the Keyblade would be his patron.
Episodes 20 and 21 of the Fire Emblem stats: Peter Pan and Sora. First, the eternally young man. Peter has a fairly obvious weapon build. He's good at swords, authority, faith, and flying, but is bad at reason and heavy armor. He has great speed and charm but not much else. Next, the guy made of several guys. Sora is an all-rounder, meaning all of his stats are equally good.
The dual wield feat allows you to dual wield weapons even if you wouldn’t usually be able to lift them/use them with 1 hand. And yes, I know I’m real late to this
Personally I'd have used paladin instead of fighter. Uses the same casting stat as sorcerer and paladin just meshes with divine soul sorcerer thematically.
It wouldn't have worked paladins are worshipers of a specific God, in most keyblade wielder cases that would be light, Sora doesn't really follow the same ideology that other keyblade willders do. That's just my opinion, Sora as a fighter, Riku is a hexblade, Kairi is a paladin.
@@zachbahamutson5477 5E paladins get there power from the oath. though they can worship a god they don't have to. "Whatever their origin and their mission, paladins are united by their oaths to stand against the forces of evil. Whether sworn before a god's altar and the witness of a priest, in a sacred glade before nature spirits and fey beings, or in a moment of desperation and grief with the dead as the only witness, a paladin's oath is a powerful bond. It is a source of power that turns a devout warrior into a blessed champion."
I probably would have gone with eldritch knight to 10 and druid (circle of the arbiter, found in eberrons miscellany) feel free to tweak how many levels for each you would take(also swapping wisdom for charisma for casting stat if the dm allows, or just reversing what you choose in creation). for eldritch knight the features would be the same, but for druid features id choose warden view at lv 2 (expertise in nature and perception), and choose spells that summon creatures to help you like sora did. at 2 you can use wildshape by using 'shape of the arbiter' from the features, acting much like drive forms do, giving you temp hit points and a unique attack. at lv 6 you can become a gatekeeper, doing 1/2 your druit level as bonus damage to abberations(nobodies) and fiends (heartless) whenever you hit them. at 10 you get ashes to arbiter, letting you cast counterspell with a wildshape use, and then giving you the choice to also use your other wildshape use to turn into the 'drive form' (which can parry attacks in game too)
My favorite thing about Sora is that he’s kinda just a clueless, naive dummy, but he just happens to mess with the villains’ plans anyway. #DecemberTulokRewatch
"Action Surge and Haste turns [your number of attacks per round] to six." Incorrect, I see this mistake made a lot. If you are Hastened and use your haste-action to attack, you *only get one attack*. Meaning with Haste, Sora would get 4 attacks in a round, not 6.
So question, I had to watch this while muted so maybe it was said during the video, but why not a pack of the blade Celestial Warlock/paladin or Cleric?
I would question not giving Sora the Knock or Arcane Lock spells, but 1) that's already cutting into his limited spells known, and 2) it's assumed that the Keyblade - the Legendary magic weapon he lugs around - can just let the wielder cast those two spells at will. It's the main draw of the Keyblade, not counting its power or the ability to lock or unlock _worlds._ Although for that matter, it's probably not efficient for Sora to learn Magic Weapon, as said Keyblade already IS one. I'm not sure if the spell Magic Weapon stacks with an already magical weapon. There's arguments to be made to save that spell learned for something else.
I would've done Warlock pact of the Hexblade for a sword that appears and dissappears at will, plenty of elemental stuff, and at higher levels multiclassed into Eldritch Knight Fighter.

seems ok but not really my playstyle as sora, but still solid groundwork to build your own sora playstyle with. for exemple, my sora had always low atk stats, in fact its mostly the weakest stat i use for sora so i would not put 15 points into strength, rather into charisma. PS. i guess the hardest thing to do on building this char is to explain your party how your hair stays that pointy xD
Relocated Peter Pan comment: The irony of the Peter Pan build being “for kids”, but not Sora is even sharper than the Nintendo stuff. #DecemberTulokRewatch
7:37 By the sounds of it you said haste gives you six attacks, but the action from haste only lets you make one attack with it regardless if you can do more than one per attack action.
I preferred KH2 magic all around compared to any other game. Each spell felt unique and had their own use case. In the other games you could just pick a spell and spam that, so the magic was less interesting
I looked up divine soul sorcerers. “Starting at 14th level, you can use a bonus action to manifest a pair of spectral wings from your back.” Does this mean the 14th level for the character, or 14th Sorcerer level?
Actually wouldn't it make sense to Make Sora multiclass into Wizard since his spells requires his knowledge and for him to memorize them? Plus he can actively change or use all of his spells. Granted Wisdom is meant to double as his reasoning but either the player could just roleplay a thick headed goody two shoes or play a low wisdom Wizard build. Wait, which modifier is spellcasting for Wizards? Cuz if it's intelligence then it works.
For me, magic and flight are more important to me than anything else in my Sora. Also, how to build a Cleric with poison immunity, Snek friendship, exorcism, and lay on hands?
I know I'm behind, and probably one of the only ones who noticed you say it or feels this way, but I like KH2 fire better. Was more of a defensive spell, while i already had plenty that were offensive.
This build can work equally well for Ventus, with a couple of tweaks. Prioritize Dexterity(15) over Strength for one handed weapons along with Defensive Duelist and the Dueling Fighting Style. Dump strength(8) and Wisdom(10). The kid is a twig, and while he is a decent judge of character, he's more intelligent than he is savvy. As far as spells go, Ven is as versatile as Sora, but he does have more Wind and Light spells.
I dont know how quickly there will be another Kingdom Hearts video, so I'll just try to help point you in the right direction. Saix - Bezerker Barbarian, pretty straightforward Xigbar - Sharpshooter Fighter (with sharpshooter feat and crossbow expert), grab a few levels of sorcerer for misty step and Magic Missile. Marluxia- maybe a fey warlock? That'd be the trickiest one...
Axel and Roxas are built (shameless plug for my own videos). Luxord - school of illusion wizard, lucky feat Larxene - a mixture of kensei monk and sorcerer for lightning spells, and mirror image Xaldin - war cleric, dual wielder feat, casts spiritual weapon and spear master feat for 3 spears, then fighter for a bunch of attacks Leaxus - brute fighter, mixed with a barbarian (check my Wolverine video another shameless plug). Zexion - fiend warlock, pact of the tome Xemnas - uh... shadow sorcerer? Psychic Blade spell and fighter levels for extra attack Demyx - bard, lore style for more water spells most of those come from a sorcerer list Vexen - mix fighter for shields with wizard for ice spells, school of necromancy to bring up "replicas"

Pairing "fly" with "haste" would basically be wielding the Leviathan keyblade
"Action Surge and Haste turns [your number of attacks per round] to six."
Incorrect, I see this mistake made a lot.
I actually did like the circular fire. One of my favorite spells in combat to use
This series is my favorite video game and my favorite non-video game combined! Now, May I suggest Demyx, my favorite Org XIII character?
Sora is now in smash ultimate as the final DLC fighter, don't forget to add this video to the smash bros list.
Flair really nice.
But probably the least optimized dnd character I have ever seen. Still like it very much
Damn, Sora is kind of really powerful huh?
U have no idea....
ye,he is
He can be pretty broken (this might be base kh1 sora character build) i cant imagine a kh 2 sora character build..or even a kh 3 sora build
this is a mix of all of them lol.
Maybe but wouldnt it be a bit hard to implement ya know? Form changes from kh 2 and kh 3?? (I havent played much D&D so sorry for not understanding)
I would question not giving Sora the Knock or Arcane Lock spells, but 1) that's already cutting into his limited spells known, and 2) it's assumed that the Keyblade - the Legendary magic weapon he lugs around - can just let the wielder cast those two spells at will. It's the main draw of the Keyblade, not counting its power or the ability to lock or unlock _worlds._
Although for that matter, it's probably not efficient for Sora to learn Magic Weapon, as said Keyblade already IS one. I'm not sure if the spell Magic Weapon stacks with an already magical weapon. There's arguments to be made to save that spell learned for something else.
Skyrim Dragonborn. Fighter/Sorcerer (draconic) multiclass.
Sly Cooper. Tabaxi Rouge; Thief subclass. Either Charlatan, or Criminal backgrounds.
I would've done Warlock pact of the Hexblade for a sword that appears and dissappears at will, plenty of elemental stuff, and at higher levels multiclassed into Eldritch Knight Fighter.
These videos are so cool! I was thinking of making one of my own for RUclipsrs, and I was wondering how you put the stats on the screen?
well now this is something im interested in now that sora is in smash ^^

"If you been on my Chanel you know I love this..... A little to much
Me(also a new subscriber): that doesn't sound like me at all
Some random person: dude your nose is growing big
Me: wait what
Oh sh*t
seems ok but not really my playstyle as sora, but still solid groundwork to build your own sora playstyle with. for exemple, my sora had always low atk stats, in fact its mostly the weakest stat i use for sora so i would not put 15 points into strength, rather into charisma. PS. i guess the hardest thing to do on building this char is to explain your party how your hair stays that pointy xD
This is so cool
I know why Knock isn't included in this build, but it's still funny.
Oh shoot. Just looked that up, you're right. I'll make a note of it for the future. Thanks!
@@tulokthebarbrarian2033 Happy to help.
I preferred KH2 magic all around compared to any other game. Each spell felt unique and had their own use case. In the other games you could just pick a spell and spam that, so the magic was less interesting
Did he say haste let's him double attacks? Though it only gave you one more attack, regardless of multiattack
Yes
KH2 Fire can be a reflavored Word of Radiance or Sword Burst
I am so making this!
Doesn't the dual wielder feat negate the great weapon fighting style?
I honestly have no clue about D&D. I just came here for Kingdom Hearts content.
I looked up divine soul sorcerers.
“Starting at 14th level, you can use a bonus action to manifest a pair of spectral wings from your back.”
Does this mean the 14th level for the character, or 14th Sorcerer level?
14th of Sorceror. Classes and subclasses don't usually refer to total character level.
Sora's a good boy but you know who's a even more gooderer boy? Thanos.
Thanos build please.
Do not use dancing light with wild magic :D this can only end bad lol
Just over 60 Smash characters to go ;)
Actually wouldn't it make sense to Make Sora multiclass into Wizard since his spells requires his knowledge and for him to memorize them? Plus he can actively change or use all of his spells. Granted Wisdom is meant to double as his reasoning but either the player could just roleplay a thick headed goody two shoes or play a low wisdom Wizard build.
Wait, which modifier is spellcasting for Wizards? Cuz if it's intelligence then it works.
Heblade Patron: Kingdom Hearts
For me, magic and flight are more important to me than anything else in my Sora. Also, how to build a Cleric with poison immunity, Snek friendship, exorcism, and lay on hands?
I'm surprised you didn't go hexblade warlock with pact of the sword. His power comes from the keyblade after all.
What bout warriors of water deep does that count as a game where u can play sora
Who else got this in there RUclips recommendations? And also have never heard of dungeons and dragons?
I know I'm behind, and probably one of the only ones who noticed you say it or feels this way, but I like KH2 fire better. Was more of a defensive spell, while i already had plenty that were offensive.
I'm here now wondering how make Sora or someone within the KH Verse into a Pathfinder game...thank you for this video nonetheless!!
For pathfinder you want to replace Eldritch knight with blackblade Magus
@@dustinayers7655
Thanks!
How to play sora...intelligence of 4
Bet u can't finish Organization XIII members, that Demyx might be to hard to figure out.
Touyube reccommends on point
The truth is nothing in dnd is like kingdom hearts
What about Eileen the crow from bloodborne?
Surprised you took Eldritch Knight since you gave Sora 10 int and Eldritch Knight uses int as their spellcasting ability.
Can you do a kh3 version now?
This build can work equally well for Ventus, with a couple of tweaks. Prioritize Dexterity(15) over Strength for one handed weapons along with Defensive Duelist and the Dueling Fighting Style. Dump strength(8) and Wisdom(10). The kid is a twig, and while he is a decent judge of character, he's more intelligent than he is savvy. As far as spells go, Ven is as versatile as Sora, but he does have more Wind and Light spells.
Hi could you do more Kingdom Hearts characters such as Saix, Marluxia or Xigbar thanks
I dont know how quickly there will be another Kingdom Hearts video, so I'll just try to help point you in the right direction.
Saix - Bezerker Barbarian, pretty straightforward
Xigbar - Sharpshooter Fighter (with sharpshooter feat and crossbow expert), grab a few levels of sorcerer for misty step and Magic Missile.
Marluxia- maybe a fey warlock? That'd be the trickiest one...
@@tulokthebarbrarian2033 what about the other members of organization 13?
Axel and Roxas are built (shameless plug for my own videos).
Luxord - school of illusion wizard, lucky feat
Larxene - a mixture of kensei monk and sorcerer for lightning spells, and mirror image
Xaldin - war cleric, dual wielder feat, casts spiritual weapon and spear master feat for 3 spears, then fighter for a bunch of attacks
Leaxus - brute fighter, mixed with a barbarian (check my Wolverine video another shameless plug).
Zexion - fiend warlock, pact of the tome
Xemnas - uh... shadow sorcerer? Psychic Blade spell and fighter levels for extra attack
Demyx - bard, lore style for more water spells most of those come from a sorcerer list
Vexen - mix fighter for shields with wizard for ice spells, school of necromancy to bring up "replicas"
@@tulokthebarbrarian2033 cool I just wanted to know.
Can you do He-Man character .
There is no such thing as loving Kingdom Hearts too much.
myman.gif
@@tulokthebarbrarian2033 I mean I've played most of the games other than Union cross and kh3. I have neither the systems that kh3 goes on and I really don't want to have to play a online multiplayer game just to get a good story.
Never played Union myself either. Kingdom Hearts 3 is great, block out the haters. I'd recommend a PS4, you can also get the HD collections and have every game on one system, it's really nice.
@@tulokthebarbrarian2033 thanks man.
khux is pretty bad. it barely counts as a videogame in my eyes. kh3 on the other hand is a good game, but has a lot of flaws. not as many as bbs tho,so one can definitly deal with it
how to play aizen in dnd
Little late to this, but kh2 fire is much better than kh1 fire
Only cause it hits multiple times. I don't think it does in DnD
Do Steven universe next please
Nah rose quartz. She's a druidic battle cleric with a little sorcery, Steven while he has all her potential abilities is just used as cleric on his own.
