- TRIBE! I can't believe it's been more than seven years since I started my sisterlock journey! It's been a long road... but it's been worth every minute! This is my first sisterlock video so be sure to leave a comment and let me know if you would like to see more natural hair videos!
Today i'm gonna hit you with a different type of sister lock journey. I know we've all seen them, so i want to put a little bit of twist on it. I found some footage of my husband giving me his perspective on my sisterlock journey...we'll see if it's right. Make sure you stay tuned because i've got pictures of my entire journey.

I'm a month in on my sister loc journey an excited. Your hair is gorgeous and your husband had both my husband an I laughing. He remembers all the wigs, extensions and tapping the head 😂

Lol 😆 he's definitely got a different take on it, but he's had my back through my entire hair journey and I'm grateful.
Congratulations for being consistent enough to reach PURE beauty!!! Your locs are ABSOLUTELY beautiful!! Darling, you are a ⭐ and motivation to many. Most these posters abandon their journey and it's soooooooooooooo discouraging for us on the fence and researching. I've seen at least 20 videos that make me hesitant about locking my hair. My hair is permed and mid back. Haven't permed my hair in over 6mon and my hair is deep wave category. Dunno bout all them other categories 4c and such....all I know is my hair is SUPER wavy when wet or gel applied. I ain't here to play cause I will cut EVERYTHING processed off for locs, but almost everybody that's posting about their loc journey is bout that bull 💩 here on RUclips and it's annoying AF. Why TF don't they delete their failure videos so they don't discourage others?? FAILURES!!!
Honestly locs are not for the faint of heart it’s a hardcore commitment, and it is NOT cheap but now 8 years later, I wish I had done it waaaay sooner. I would do it all over again. I’m glad the video helped and motivated you. Let me know if you decide to jump in!

This was so nice and had me cracking up. I just passed my 2nd year of traditional locs and hunny my patience is THIN I want it to be armpit length already lol. But I am working on enjoying the journey although difficult lol.

I have been back and forth about sister love for about 10 years. I turned 60 and I’m going to just do it. I have natural hair. I live NP area of Michigan. I don’t know where to start. Because first I don’t even see a lot of me where I live. Can’t you please help me find someone in Wisconsin or in the upper part of Michigan. I just don’t want to have to be driving hours to get my hair done. Thanks

Great question! I think because it's a gradual growth you don't notice the wait as much. Sometimes they feel a bit scratchy if I don't moisturize them.

Are you in the US? My girlfriend went to the states to get hers done a few years ago because the price difference was crazy.
For me to get sisterlocks it would be $1500+ (I have around 12 inches of hair)
