A very thought provoking question. Thank you for taking the time, making the effort to ask it. There's much truth to ponder. God Bless. God speed in your journey.
Agreed. Saul chased David for many years, trying to kill him, he dealt with this temptation also. No one is exempt. The enemy knows how to provoke, and intimidate to the point of anger and unforgiveness-it's an ongoing battle, to admit it to the Lord, and forgive.
Sometimes the truth is hard to hear. This one felt like the one I needed to hear today. We can always come up with narratives to substantiate the unforgiveness we sometimes carry when in reality, we need to just let it go. Bitterness has ugly roots. Forgiveness is the key. Thank you for this post today.
God is not a slot machine or a genie. Neither is He an accuser. We must be careful not to be an accuser of others or of self. Life is just hard because we are not God and it’s not anyone’s fault. Even ourselves. Forgiveness of self first and of others second (if they ask). Vengeance is the lords. Bitterness is ok and even fruitful. Bitterness is not the same as vengeance.
Thank you!

@@nigthwtachman-lacIt's easy to think Biblical heros of the faith weren't tempted, yet we know they were.

@@juliespencer2588 I think we're all guilty of these things.
Yes, how can I walk in God’s power and Love if I’m holding onto lower things of my flesh and letting those dominate me instead of Him
