***** Exactly! They an take the worst thing and make it sound so calming by putting their own music over it and having Cody's vocals soothe down. Even when they are mean, they sometimes still show compassion. For instance, in The Haunting it goes "No one will love you like I did. No one will treat you like I did" but then its "One day you will find that picture perfect guy and ill change my words of poison" I was like "Aww how sweet. He apologizes for when he is proven wrong."
angelina lastname I kind of feel bad saying this since you said such nice things about them but the lyrics are actually "I'll chase my words with poison".

To be fair though, the only reason I know the lyrics is because I have a young niece that likes to listen to whatever I'm listening to so I always read through the lyrics to make sure her mom won't get mad if she listens to them. Unfortunately, she doesn't get to listen to much by Set It Off.

Yep, this totally has a different meaning vs the original version. Look how powerful music is. The same lyrics and two completely different tracks equal two different songs with two different meanings. That's just... amazing. Good job guys, I can't wait for the EP.
Fr the original sounds angry, like it's just a pure callout from someone who's been hurt too many times to give a second chance, whereas as the acoustic sounds like the song itself is the second chance, and they're lowkey pleading with the person to be honest with themselves before it's too much for both of them to handle. Like, the original has the vibe of someone who was cheated on and the acoustic has the vibe of someone who's in a relationship with someone who can't admit they have feelings for them because of external baggage.

Just saw them in concert! It was one of the best moments of my life. Theyre my favorite band. And brought me out of the worst ruts from an abusive bf, to losing my father. Seeing them up there playing changed everything. I cant hear their music without reliving the wonderful moment. And I honestly can't explain how much I love and appreciate you guys.
