NYCT Subway: R211A Rockaway Park (S)huttle Train Action (+ R46 / R179 (A) & (S) Trains) (July 2024)

Taken 7/13/24 at Rockaway Blvd, Aqueduct - North Conduit, Howard Beach - JFK Airport, and Broad Channel.
Seen here is a 10-car train of Kawasaki R211As (#4070-4074/#4245-4249) on the Rockaway Park Shuttle (S) line running between Rockaway Park and Rockaway Blvd.
Also seen are a few sets of Kawasaki R211As, Bombardier R179s, and Pullman Standard R46s running on the (A) and the Rockaway Park Shuttle.
Weekend summer service in the Rockaways has begun! The Rockaway Park Shuttle has been extended to Rockaway Blvd to allow for easier connections to the Rockaways from ALL (A) service. Because of this extension, full sets of trains were used on the line instead of the usual half set. Today was the first time that a set of R211A was used on the weekend shuttle, which will be the norm once more R46s are retired.

Hey will the D train get any newer trains anytime soon?! And also whatever happened to Select bus services, did they stop creating more of those ?
