Man sets wife, himself on fire with 2 adult sons nearby in north Houston home

- A man lit himself and his wife on fire early Monday morning in an apparent murder-suicide, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
This happened on Desert Rose Lane, near the intersection of Antoine Drive and Fallbrook Drive in north Harris County. The sheriff first posted about the incident on X, formerly Twitter at 2:58 a.m.
Deputies were called to the home and tried to get in through the garage, but it was fully engulfed in flames, Gonzalez said.
A disturbance at the home around 1:40 a.m. escalated when the 63-year-old man who lives there turned off the power to the house while one of his adult sons was studying for an exam he was supposed to take Monday, according to Gonzalez. Read more of the story: www.khou.com/article/news/cri...

If you want to take yourself out then that’s one thing…but why take others unwillingly with you?
Well, lot of the people that are gonna do it, don't want to be in Heaven alone -- without all of their loved ones. So, that's why so many Christian men who do this (and still love the Lord) will just go ahead and take the whole family with them. Come on -- everyone in the family is 100% certain to go to Heaven. Then, Father who does it, can just pray after it's happened. Then, everyone gets into Heaven and doesn't have to worry about inflation, bills, and not even student loans -- like I've got to every single month.

How sad. Taking care of our mental health is so important and asking for help when we need it is even more important to keep things like this from happening. So very sorry to the two sons for the loss of their parents.

Those poor boys, they must have endured emotional and psychological abuse for years. My heart goes out to the boys. It's sad when you grow up in a house were you have to walk on eggshells alot and you love ur parents but you can't take sides. Addiction and anger is a dangerous mix.

Well, it's not hard to understand. Because the Economy is tough now for people. So many of us know that Things aren't gonna get better, and we just have to deal with having less money and paying more for things. Well, with everything so expensive and no company is giving raises anymore, then lot of people don't have enough money to make it through the month. So, that's why this happens. But, anyway, it doesn't matter. They were probably Christians, and they're in Heaven right now. Bet Guy prayed to Jesus for forgiveness, and God forgave him. At least, they're in a better and happier place than so many of us that are living now in Houston. We are so tired fighting all of the Crime and all of this non-stop Inflation. It's really hard on older people now.
