This is an incredible video. You expect, and get, Neil doing his fantastic solo shit, but rarely do you get to see Springsteen play screaming lead guitar. Fave is Clarence just blowing the place apart with Bruce and Neil kind of worshiping at his altar. Awesome stuff.

I live in Sydney and earlier this year took my 14 year old son to his first concerts: Neil Young and then, a few weeks later, Bruce Springsteen. He loved them both and now goes thru my old records so he can listen to the music and wants to play his sax like Jake Clemons (& by extension, Clarence Clemons). I only fear is that after a start like that, can live music for him ever be bettered?

Dylan and Hendrix kind of showed us the way with this great anthem. Actually. Some of the best guitarist have made statements that Bruce is the most underrated guitarist out there. And if he ever wanted to be known as a GREAT guitarist he would be.. He just doesn't want that label.. But watch him, he lets loose often!

I was at this show in 2004. Very rare night getting to see rem, fogerty, Bruce, Neil, bright eyes. I can't remember if it was this song or rockin in the free world Bruce cut Neil off because he wouldn't stop jamming and pointed to Max to go the next song. Unforgettable night

Not sure how anyone could criticize this. My freshman English Comp Prof preferred Bob's. I was blown away by Hendrix's version. I'm not sure I've heard a bad version and Neil catches the spirit with Springsteen along for the ride. Lucky Bruce and Neil...and Clarence RIP.
