this is quickly turning into my favorite celebrity show of this sort. as a huge hot ones enjoyer i feel its schtick is starting to get stale and this is so new and refreshing. the premise of the show is incredible because every meal is going to be completely different and thats the beauty. also the way josh doesnt just ask about career milestones but talks about their life in a way that makes them feel like a real person and not just someone famous is incredible.

Hot Ones is fun but I feel Sean Evans is very overrated as an interviewer. He gets praise for coming up with niche questions but he rarely bounces off of guest's responses in an unique or dynamic way. It's very clear he's not great at coming up with interesting questions on the fly/as a follow-up. As a result, it comes across like he's rushing to segue into the next sauce and the convo isn't really that open or expansive (which is fine for a celebrity doing a normal press junket, but the formula def gets old).
Josh is genuinely so great at connecting with guests, bouncing off of their responses, and using the show as an outlet to have real conversations rather than the show just being another 'interview, but with food' gimmick show. I'd love for it to see a similar level of success.

Wow. The amount of introspective he has and being able to understand his sons is so amazing. I hope to be this type of parent (if it ever happens) and his being able to see how his sons addiction happened is so amazing. He is a great person all around and it makes me so so sad how just because of who he is makes people feel hatred. I could never understand it.

I LOVE Karamo's parenting methods!! 100% on board!!
Also, I just realised - Josh would be a phenomenal therapist. He could hold his sessions over a meal, because food helps people talk, and his clients would leave feeling surprised at the revelations and satisfied from the good food.

My cousin has that thing too with food, like his grandmother, where he can't have different foods touch, we always find it weird, especially dishes that go together.
I disagree with the idea that us women should always be head of families, that's just shifting from one monolithic extreme to another. I believe that humans should interact and lead roles based on our capabilities, dreams, life purposes, not our gender. Let couples and individual humans be whatever they agree on, without specific gender roles.
