I have returned to Jesus. She is still out there. I fill blessed with no contact. I would have messed it up worse if I was talking to her.

Since I found out about this affair he has had no contact with me or our 3 daughters. I was standing for my marriage because I love my husband and do not want our marriage to end in divorce but I see they are happy his family accepts their adulterous relationship and I am feeling like I have just been stupid thinking God was going to restore our family/marriage. Thank you for your word of Of wisdom that God has placed upon you to help people like us. My husband had changed his life about 9 years ago. He became a preacher. Then in these last two years our baby daughter had came back from college her dad and our youngest daughter are not talking. I was in middle of them both. I tried to bring them back together again but fail miserable. It got to the point which it started to effect our marriage. I would sneak and lied to my husband just so I can help my daughter. Then about September of 2019 my husband gets a call from Detective that they reopening a case on him that happen 2010. So at this point my husband is feeling like why is all this happening to him when he is doing good , got his life straight, and taking care of his family and he has his own business. Then our pastor get very sick and this is the one person who my husband talk to every day ( does right before Thanksgiving). I see him slipping away but don't know what to do. I notice my husband going to bars to have a drinks. One night he went to talk to he cousin and his cousin left him their so he called me. He told me if I want to sit with I can. I heard the sadness in his voice so decided to give space for a minute and felt asleep. I woke up a hour later by voice saying Annmarie you losing your husband. I call him he didn't answer. I went to the bar and he was not there. He didn't call me back until about 4 ( I kept calling him). While in mean time I praying to God to send someone to help my husband out and stop him if he is turning back to drugs. When called me back he said go to sleep I be home soon. About two weeks on winter break he takes me with him to go dropped these cars off in California. On the way there he tells me remember that night I didn't come home I have met someone she helped me from doing drugs that night. I was planning on leaving you and in my head I did. I ask him why and he said you was lying to me and I prayed to God to help me to forgive you, but that night me and you was going out to that concert I paid a lot of money for us and you get a call from our daughter and Immediately you want to drop me off and go take care of her. So now you can go take care of our daughter. I told him you just giving up on me, I never gave on you when you went jail for 7yrs, when you had addicted to drugs and womens. I make this one mistake and you giving up on me. I even told him God has already been working on me on and I just gave up my daughter to him totally. He hug me and said this why I told you about the girl i been seeing. He said what do you want me to do? I told to break everything off with her and tell her you want to make thing right with your wife. So he did and about two weeks later the girl calls him and tell him she is pregnant and he could be the dad. My husband and her boyfriend offer to pay for the abortion. She said no she is keeping her baby. She told my husband you can sign all your right away. Of course my husband said no he want to take care of his responsibility. At first I was mad and but I told him ok I will help raise his child if it is his. I told him stop all communication with her until we find out if it is his. By this time Detective bring charges against my husband. He is now on house arrest but with no restrictions until he go to his preliminary hearing. My husband has not stop talking to his mistress. He is still talking to her everyday. How I know I check call log. So I confront him with it. Then he stop her from calling the regular line and have her call on his work line. How this is because he hasn't been to work because of covil -9. Then when I confront him he tells me I am not to going to stop talking to her because it might be my baby and it's a boy. We don't have boys only two girls. Then I find out later he paid half to have the maternity test while she is still pregnant. It cost over thousands dollars. At this time I am the only one who is getting paid because I am a teacher. I mad at the fact he couldn't wait ( went behind my back) and he spend our money. Not only he is staying out all night and gone all day saying taking care business or I am hanging out with friend. Then he finally tells me he still see her and go to doctor appointments. He also tells me I was there for you and we weren't married at first. I told but you weren't married either and I was your girlfriend. Yes this girl knew from the begin that my husband was married he told her and she admitted. Both my girls our pregnant too and they are having boys. My baby girl just had her baby June 1st. My oldest will have her baby in September around the same time as my husband suppose be baby. We both prayed hard for our girls to have boys and they are. My husband tells me he need time he confused right now, but all he knows is he love me and he doesn't want to lose our friendship. He knows I will be the only one by his side if he ended up going to jail for something he did not do. I told I must be first and the only one that come first over me is God. He tells me just give me time to figure this out, I will make it right but right now I am confused. So you see I am in War and I cry out to God almost everyday and I pray and read and sing. I been working on me but I am still in pain. My husband knows the history how my mom abuse me as a child because a I was not her husband child and he ask how can still love her and I say because I am child of God. He promise me that he wouldn't bring any harm or break my heart. He is also a child that wasn't by his mom husband because his mom cheated on her husband because he was cheating on her. She didn't tell her husband until later and told my husband about it when he was 13. His step dad loved him as his own and my husband loves his step dad( his step dad died few years ago). His real dad choose to stay out of it until his mom told him. His real dad tried to see him as he got older but my husband refuse to. I told him at least your mom told you and your dad try to see you. My mom wouldn't let me see my real dad. I remember when he tried when I was 4 he had bought me a doll and my mom threw back him( I remember crying for that doll). I never seen him again until I was grown. My God mom hooked it up and we talk to this day. He even likes my husband. I haven't told no one in my family but my husband family knows and the are disappointed and very angry at my husband and told me if I decided to leave him don't forget about us we still love you. I honestly don't know how long to stand or to just throw in the towel. My husband moved out & he's on a dating site. My mother in law told me she's praying for us and to be patient. It's hard especially with the financial, physical, & emotional aspects of the relationship taken away.
Take your eyes off your husband Sharon. The frame of mind he is in to be on dating sites means he is not the same man you married, mentally. There isn't "greener" grass on dating sites, those are places for quick hookups. Standing is about building respect to the Will of GOD and self respect as a mature adult. Your mother in law is doing the right thing by praying for you BOTH. The financial and emotional aspects of the relationship will change no matter what happens now, but the TRUE goal is to make sure you are a better person than you were last month. Focus on you and your relationship with GOD. Your husband has his own journey to walk.
My marriage is the most important thing I had decided in my entire life to be married to the one I promised to stay till dementia strikes and till we die. But he cut the marriage. at 9 months. Divorce me in states but not accepted in the Philippines. He is free in the states but The marriage is not free here in the Philippines. Will I still hope since he had disrespected it for all this time. What would I do? I don’t want to break God’s commandment and I know God gave me this marriage. I cant just understand why God allow this to happen to us.

Brother, I have experienced a false start. Its been 4 months and its been total desaster,, husband wants to leave again. What do you do after false start??
False starts are so hard to experience, to me they made me feel like nothing works. BUT when I went through one remained as calm as I could and asked my wife, "Why do you want to leave ?" She answered, "Because I'm not happy." No other reason, no deeper explanation, just unhappiness. False starts happen because either the feel of the relationship hasn't changed or the prodigal spouse hasn't addressed the root of their u happiness. It took some time and some digging, but I challenged myself with another question: When is my wife telling me she is unhappy? So here are the steps I took: Keep Calm - really calm and control your tone. Quick Prayer 🙏- Ask God to help you stay present in the moment and not blow your kid, then put the prayer in Jesus name. Ask Why - using your calm voice so you communicate your willingness to listen. Ask, Is that all? - after listening to their reason, ask if there is more they'd like get out of their system. Again, calm voice. Thank them for sharing their reason(s) - because #standing is more about your place of peace in God. Any or unhappiness your spouse is feeling is the journey they must take for themselves. Pray and give Praise to God for revealing the new path for you and your spouse to take next. Stay strong and keep your trust in the Most High 👊

Ask, Is that all? - after listening to their reason, ask if there is more they'd like get out of their system. Again, calm voice.
Thank them for sharing their reason(s) - because #standing is more about your place of peace in God. Any or unhappiness your spouse is feeling is the journey they must take for themselves.
