Thanks for your comment. Yeah, both the interior and the suicide door is an important part of the car. It makes the car feel more open which I like. Yeah the gear shift is in a weird spot, but is super convenient.
It’s one of the best city cars-super small, great visibility, and easy to park with. My model’s only bottle neck is its range. It can only go about 120 miles which can be limiting.
@@wr8thbeatz322 Around here that goes for about 350€. If you need to replace that every 2 years, that adds 175€ to the annual maintenance bill. My 21 yo petrol car costs me 180€ in annual maintenance cost. I do know it’s a problem with nearly every EV except Tesla which has replaced that with a seperate Li-ion battery.
According to google: “Suicide doors are rear-hinged doors on a vehicle, and are named for the perceived danger of the design before seatbelts were mandatory.”
Because if a door like that is opened while driving, it will fly off from the wind pressure. The back doors on this car can't be opened without opening the front doors first though, so that's not really a risk in this car.
@@TechyGamerVibeZ There will always be haters. Honestly, what people don't see is that this is a super easy to drive car. Easy to park. Costs are super minimal compared to a gas car. And it can go 125 miles easily. It's one of the best city cars out there period.
@@itsalexanderherehaters are so annoying, they don’t like the car but lo and behold they clicked on the video🙄 I’m actually interested in the i3, I’m seeing low mileage ones for under 10 grand, as for the range extender versions, I’m seeing some for around 11-12k, which is pretty cheap compared to other cars.
6. The only one design.
I like too.
James may owns one as his daily driver. After he stopped buying pandas
That steering wheel is my personal favorite from all BMW cars❤
That’s a good point! I cannot agree more!
the interior is *chefs kiss*
you ain’t a car guy to understand the beauty of the 1990 nsx starship interior
I agree with 1 and 4, it took me a while to get used to the mode selector.

If this car had a slightly longer range like 240 to be on par with a bolt it would have done numbers
I wish I had a BMW i3. Regardless the age of the car
It’s a great car. Glad you like it. I’m also working on an in depth video review so stay tuned.
We are the lucky ones.. great car..
Love this car! Just curious, to which year you have?
Thanks for your comment. It’s a 2017 model, pre-face lift.
thank you!!!!
When i see this model i got a one thought at last i home
I going to buy a BMW i3 2015 model
I just love that it’s a compact car. Way too many evs are big and expensive.

Cleeeean. How is maintenance?
Almost non existent, the only thing that I had to do besides the summer/ winter tire change was the washer fluid top up.
So no 12V battery replacements every now and then?
@@jojacobs4355 that’s pretty inexpensive problem to worry about every now and then ye?

@@jojacobs4355€350 for a 12v car battery? Is that because EV 12v systems are different or is that the same for a combustion engine car?
why it has such thin tires, almost size of my fatbike bicycle tires
It’s supposed to make the car more efficient.
I like the tyres. I think the cheapest tyres will set you back £140 for 1 tyre
Yeah the tires are steep. Getting second hand tires that are barely used is the way to go if you want to save money.
Next video: five things I hate about the bmw i3😂
Well there is a video that I made that is about things I dislike about the BMW i3
THE WHAT DOOR?!?!
Suicide, because gangsters would throw people out of them lol
Clean out those cup holders immediately
That’s my fault lol
Why do they call it Suicide door? Lol

Drive 120km a day as I do and you will hate that pos steering wheel. I cant wait to junk it for an F30 M sport one
It's too small feel like you are sitting in a small box no room
No actually it feels really spacious.
gay ahh car
Why are you here then
