The extended Pulse Comfortably Numb Solo is the best its ever been performed live I believe. Just perfect and Gilmour truly blows the roof off the place.
This guitar solo is a miracle . More then 35 years of listening it , never , NEVER fed-up . This solo is one of the best thing that life has give to me . When i heard the pulse version for the first time .....Oh my God !! How , HOW Gilmour has done to create that ?? I still don't know and perhaps i never will ....
This is how Gilmour turned one of the already greatest solos of all time into one of the most badass jams, so fucking good. Killed it as always, dude, hope you had a merry Christmas and happy holidays

Merry Christmas and amazing as always.......Since 2009 I've been putting off routing the pickup cavities in my AV 57 CAR and installing my emg DG20's. The time has come 😍
I loved the Live In Venice-version a but more, but.. that could well be because that concert made me want to play the guitar (as well as that version of 'On the turning away') Gilmour on his height!
Hats off to you sir, excellent job recreating that solo, especially the extended version. Excellent technique and phrasing, I certainly admire your talent! I'm a player myself, and a huge Dave Gilmour and Floyd fan, (saw them live twice), since the release of their DSOTM album in 1973, I was 17 years old and in a local band, lol.
In my opinion cd version of this solo is superior, but maybe because it was first one I've heard. Any, awesome job, man! I'm also grateful, because I've just decided to properly learn guitar, and this channel pops out! Of course, Pink Floyd is my favourite band, and Dave is my favourite guitarist! Big thanks!
Hello Your solo is masterfully perfect! I heard the solo played by Gilmour at Circo Massimo in Rome on 27/09/2024 and I assure you it was mature and beautiful!
Brilliant. Iv been learning this since one year ago. And have it finally learnt by another amazing guy on here also. But now I have to get every note exact. But that, was the best version Iv heard yet. So it’s the uncut version. I stay with the usual pulse version. I learnt so much from it just jamming in Bm blues now is a lot of fun. Iv watched hundreds but this is amazing.

I'm really in the minority here. I actually prefer the version from The Delicate Sound of Thunder. On PULSE, David plays likes he's just going through the motions, making sure that he plays each note on those descending blues licks "just because he has to". On TDSOT he cuts into them, makes a few caesuras and gives every measure a little bite. ruclips.net/video/6uSeFVGfn9M/видео.html
@@GustavoSáMartins So, first of all, tone sounds great from what I hear, but it's blurry because you're playing over the original track and it's room sound, not mic. Still, it's very full sound and I can hear the chorus like PULSE. Second, man you're playing like fire!
Watch marty guitar comfortably numb solo 2 tutorial. And play the same solo everyday. After some time u will start improvising and it gets actually easy.
From 2:30 to 3:42 he played the removed part of the solo. Gilmour decided to remove this part due to the bum notes around 3:08. So yes, the Pulse version that everyone know is an edited version of the real solo played by Gilmour that night, and it’s the one that you can listen in this video. If you want to listen this part played by David Gilmour you can search the video called “Comfortably Numb PULSE (uncut version)” from the channel PinkFloyd4K.
