      I had a serious riding accident many years ago - I had extensive dental work carried out and have filler (done by a reputable surgeon) for restorative purposes to "balance" my face. I wonder if you know whether this machine be used over the filled areas. Many thanks, (in anticipation of a reply 😀)

      Since they are both micro current how do you compare it to the Phoenix one you reviewed a month ago?

    • @CHRISGIBSONLIVE
      @CHRISGIBSONLIVE  2 года назад

      You definitely will feel it in the teeth areas...especially on the stronger settings. I recently reviewed a lighter current device that won't give that sensation.

    I absolutely believe in micro current! I have used professional in all of my salons for decades and I have used a Nuface at home for decades. At 56 I have Done nothing invasive to my face like so many others that tell you what to buy or use, and yet they go and have cosmetic surgery. Micro current works if you are consistent. We have 42 muscles in our face and 43 with our neck. It does create blood flow which does oxygenate skin cells and does create collagen.
    Thank You Chris this one looks interesting 🙌🏻🍑🧡Lisa

      Hey Lisa! I bought the truth treatment device last year, basically the same thing as the nuface but I haven’t been able to use it. It hurts and sparks up around my mouth area. I have crowns on my back teeth and I feel it has something to do with that. It’s so bizarre. Have you heard of anything like this and if so, do you know why it’s happening? Thanks!

      Hello Holly 🧡
      Yes when we have clients with fillings , they can feel it in their teeth. We have them put their tongue on the roof of their mouth and it does help. However you should feel it at times, it is normal. I also suggest to not use the gels that come with these machines but instead just use it after your serums and with peaches you can do our moisturizer as well. I have not tried this particular model however.
      I hope this helps. 🍑🙌🏻🧡Lisa

      These EMS devices help stimulate and improve muscle strength under the skin without stretching the surfaces and yes can really help enhance and "lift" skin because the substructure underneath is firmer.

    Totally sold on Radio Frequency and electric muscle stimulation. I have the LUMO and I love the design, (can use on forehead, neck and chest) as well as its multi function options. Plus it’s recommended to use only once or twice a week. Between my red light therapy, skin care, hair, makeup, exercise, i couldn’t fit another 10 min a day into my routine. Lol. Speaking of red light I upgraded to the QURE mask over a month ago and still waiting for it to arrive. I hope to see it soon!

I've been using the ordinary vitamin C 23% with hyaluronic acid, as you suggest in one of your videos, and it's been doing wonders for my skin - thank you so much for the tip 🙏 Do you think i can also use it on my neck, for 2 or 3 wrinkles, but mainly for sagginess, or do you think it can be too harsh as neck skin is thinner and more sensitive than face skin? Thank you so much in advance! 💖

    Hello Chris, so I got some of the Ordinary products you highly recommend and also that neck firming cream; I guess it takes time for that to have a total effect; but as I am learning I have come to know that losing weight and clean eating it’s the best solution for losing that double chin and losing face fat for a more leaner face, also lowering sodium intake, drinking a lot of water… I will also begin calisthenics shortly, but I do need all help I can get now so I did get neck firming cream; my question can you use this machine on your neck and not just your jaw line; thanks

    • @CHRISGIBSONLIVE
      @CHRISGIBSONLIVE  2 года назад +3

      Great question, and no, this device is not really appropriate for the neck itself. It will help improve the neck as it strengthens the muscles just under the jaw, providing a tightening to a degree. There are face yoga exercises that can assist with the actual toning of the neck muscles without stretching the skin. Things will take time, and patience is required when looking at results from topical treatments. There are EMS devices with RF (radio frequency) that are appropriate for the neck, such as the Lumo. I'll be putting out the review on that soon. There is also dermarolling, which is the microneedling technique to produce more collagen production for increased skin thickness and tightening.

So then, hoping to see the review for the machine your just mentioned soon. Thank you again for your info.

    Do you do this daily? I have never seen this device but I do use a Nuface. They seem similar. Face yoga is great but something like this is more intense and less time intensive. I do Face Yoga at work at my desk but not everyone has 20 minutes a day to do that. I am also not convinced that Face Yoga works on every part of the face but I have seen the results of it on my neck, jaw & forehead. Thanks Chris, great video as usual.
