Edit: I apologise to the people who got flustered and distraught by this, but the reality is that 30%(up to 50% in my city) of the population thinks this way for different reasons; and voting percentage drops drastically among educated people with better paying jobs.
The response to this is to ask your favourite party to be better and come back with a proposition that makes us actually want to vote- not to attack my father, mother, Muslims, Pakistan, poha etc. Don't expect others(or me) to care about the issues you think are important.

Growth rate of 8% under PM Modi. Not only the stock market the general public of India has also benefited. But some people thought they could vote for anyone and get away with it. This is what happens when you listen to global rhetoric instead of facts. India had a growth rate of 3% under the aegis of the congress government. and all the education in the world did not change that.
Go to the US where the indices are all super high. There you will see that it has become so expensive to live that if you are not rich you are soo poor that you have to live in tents..high stocks inflate only the economy to fuel the pocket of rich money mongers while the poor become always more slaves.. Bytw purchasing power reduced greatly with modi and the gdp of India is high but not that high. Gdp growth rate was higher before modi than with him.. No Investors don't prefer unwieldy coalition government, its not about BJP or Congress but whenever there has to be a coalition between different political parties , governance becomes hard because all parties put their interests first. Like that old phrase too many cooks spoil the broth, a coalition of too many parties can be less effective (atleast from the view of investors) than a party with majority on its own like BJP had been in the previous two elections or how congress was under strong UPA during the time of Manmohan Singh when Indian GDP growth rate was actually higher than it was under Modi
