Tucker Carlson was the only one in Legacy media to criticize the endless wars and Fox News allowed him to do it. This is one of the main reasons he became so popular. He also invited progressives on his show and he would let them speak. Fox did lose advertising revenue from defense contractors because they want media outlets they advertise on to push endless wars which Tucker Carlson refused to do and that was bad for Raytheon and Lockheed Martin's bottom line.

Cenk, when a newspaper gives an endorsement doesn't that imply a bias in a certian direction? Saying that canidate is the type of candidate tha aligns with the staff/owner of that paper?

well first of all, if the owner owns a company then it ABSOLUTELY has power on who the paper endorses or not endorses.
Second of all, it is NOT the paper's job to endorse anyone. an endorsing is an opinion

I would have fired her and any others like her a long time ago. The duty of a newspaper is to report the news fairly and impartially. State and present the facts. When a media forum takes sides it becomes a surrogate of the state regardless of party affiliation. Garza is an embarrassment of free speech in that she, and others like her, took sides.

The term "news" stopped having any meaning once expectations became attached to it.
We need the newspaper to be X number of pages. It needs to be printed by 6am. The TV news starts at 5pm and needs to be 30 minutes to satisfy our advertisers. Suddenly, journalists became content creators and the newsroom became a business center.
