I was one of the people who was rooting for the poison-drink theory, and it seems like it’s been almost confirmed with this music video with all of the imagery of drinks, but now my last 3 braincells are DEAD because of the line: “Let’s brighten ourselves in the dark with no answer” Which actually kinda proves what you said, because it implies that the journey is representative of the treasure, and after acknowledging that they’ve reckoned with the dark parts of themselves, shown by the dinner.

My own theory as to the ATEEZ Treasure Saga: (emphasis on "my own") *1. Pirate King & Treasure era* - ATEEZ have gathered together with one goal in mind, and it is to find their "Treasure". They don't know what it is yet just that "it is calling for them" and that everyone wants it. So they are looking for people (Atiny) who "will be their friends" and go with them on their journey to find it. *2. Say My Name & HALA HALA era* - Comes before Pirate King and Treasure era because at the end of Say My Name MV, the intro of Treasure plays. It shows ATEEZ who have not met each other yet and are stuck within their own worlds to deal with their doubts and insecurities (in Say My Name MV they each have different sets but all of them are unable or unwilling to get out of it, trapped almost). It is the first appearance of "Dark ATEEZ" (HALA HALA) that shows their, not necessarily evil, but insecure and darker side who "deep in their hearts," also yearn to break free and feel alive but are holding themselves back. *3. Wave & Illusion era* - ATEEZ have finally set out on their journey together and dream about all the wonderful, and sometimes unbelievable, things they might encounter (Illusion MV) now that they are finally free. This is the era of their fun and exciting adventures as they strengthen their bonds and prepare themselves for all the hardships they will eventually encounter no matter how big by simply saying "Hakuna Matata," or "don't worry." *4. Wonderland era* - They have resolved themselves to finishing their journey since they are already so close to their destination ("Why stop here? This is finally what you've been looking for"). They know that there is no more going back but they march on (hence the marching band in the MV) together without regrets. They will get there and obtain their treasure even if it means "breaking down the walls." *5. Answer era* - They have finally found what they were looking for, their "Answer". They are celebrating how far they've come ("Let's make a toast like the thunder") but also making sure not to forget where they came from ("the desert with nothing in it, that's where we started") and the companions they made along the way. They have also made peace with their insecurities (hence the scene where they are dining with their "Dark" selves) saying that those days of being "Lonely, Painful, Scared, and Afraid" are gone and they want to "Raise their flags" and show it to the world. Finally, with determination "Burning like a flame" they are telling others to find their own treasure like they did and to "Call them" if they are ever in need of help along the way. (P.S. for the hardcore theorists who actually spend time analyzing every single frame and lyric - disclaimer: I have monkey brain and this is the message I was able to decipher from memory based on what I've seen from the MVs and their lyrics, so don't flame me if I got anything wrong lol. ATEEZ already were my ult group before, but even so i always fall in love with them even more each comeback. they are one of the most unique, hardworking, talented yet humble, and different groups that i know. every time they release something, it is so different and unique, yet still so ateez. great skill, great storyline, amazing&stable vocal and dance skills, variety talent, amazing MV. this group is not a rookie at all. 10/10. im so overwhelmed by their comeback, but still cant get enough of it.
It is about where they came from (the Desert, nothing, their beginning) to where they are now (no one can touch them) to where they are going next (when they raise their champagne glasses and cheer for their future). A MV of their progress from their debut while at the same time telling their critics they don't care anymore and that today they are a force to be reckoned with! Kpop is taking over the world of music. For a simple reason, they offer us real talents. Vocal talents, dance talents, performance talents, great visuals. No mediocrity, no average, only the best. A breath of fresh air in an industry where lately manufactured and sometimes mediocre artists have been pushed down out throats. The success of Kpop is a testament that people do recognize real talent and artistic creativity. We are not fooled and appreciate art when it is true.

Basically it’s like Treasure is when Ateez came to the unknown land, then it goes to Say My Name where they’re trying to find themselves and lastly Answer is where they figure out who they are.
Basically the whole story is that when Ateez are facing themselves, they’re supposedly facing their alter egos. In the Say My Name MV although they’re facing another member, it is to represent their alter ego. In San’s scene, whilst he is staring into the mirror, Yeosang is staring back as his alter ego. Their alter egos are kinda like monsters that are trapped inside, holding them back. In this MV, it shows the members looking across to their own alter ego in one scene
Bris, PLEASE STOP PAUSING THE VIDEO. This really ruins the reactions, you don't enjoy the music as much as you would as well. Somehow you also end up pausing it right before a beat drops or something important happens and you just cut off the climax, PLEASE just try and watch the video as a whole and then maybe go back to some parts at the end. Ateez HALA HALA hats were them showing part's of personalities on and off the screen. Kind of like PERSONAS and in the Answer video they all take a seat at the same table. Whereas in the HALA HALA video they were separated by glass with masks on.

ATEEZ already were my ult group before, but even so i always fall in love with them even more each comeback. they are one of the most unique, hardworking, talented yet humble, and different groups that i know. every time they release something, it is so different and unique, yet still so ateez.

A MV of their progress from their debut while at the same time telling their critics they don't care anymore and that today they are a force to be reckoned with! Kpop is taking over the world of music. For a simple reason, they offer us real talents. Vocal talents, dance talents, performance talents, great visuals. No mediocrity, no average, only the best. A breath of fresh air in an industry where lately manufactured and sometimes mediocre artists have been pushed down out throats. The success of Kpop is a testament that people do recognize real talent and artistic creativity. We are not fooled and appreciate art when it is true.

Since the beginning we thought that ateez were pirats(the flags,pirate king,looking for treasure,hongjoong calling himself captain,...)I think that ateez are the "lost kids". In the Peter Pan movie the ship starts to fly after they beat the pirates and killed captain hook. Like in Illusion. The "good" ateez are the lost Kids and "hala hala" ateez are the pirates trying to capture them and take control of them. In the Peter Pan movie Tinker Bell betrays them, but at the end she killed herself to protect peter. She also captured and the bird 'Set her free' Like wooyoung. In hala hala he betrays ateez and in wonderland we can see that he's captured in chains but mingi set hin free. But the third era(?) is an Illusion? Basically it’s like Treasure is when Ateez came to the unknown land, then it goes to Say My Name where they’re trying to find themselves and lastly Answer is where they figure out who they are.

Basically the whole story is that when Ateez are facing themselves, they’re supposedly facing their alter egos. In the Say My Name MV although they’re facing another member, it is to represent their alter ego. In San’s scene, whilst he is staring into the mirror, Yeosang is staring back as his alter ego. Their alter egos are kinda like monsters that are trapped inside, holding them back. In this MV, it shows the members looking across to their own alter ego in one scene
Bris, PLEASE STOP PAUSING THE VIDEO. This really ruins the reactions, you don't enjoy the music as much as you would as well. Somehow you also end up pausing it right before a beat drops or something important happens and you just cut off the climax, PLEASE just try and watch the video as a whole and then maybe go back to some parts at the end. Or just try and be more careful as to when you stop. I love your reactions so much but I've been noticing this a lot lately and it's just bringing the videos down a notch in my opinion.
