just bought the exact same model yesterday! love this car so far. coming from a camaro it still looks aggressive but it’s way more comfortable, fancy, and drives smooth like butter
@@mobility63 if you’re looking for power this is not the car to get. it accelerates like like any other V4, but drives smooth and shifts gears great. Compared to my V8 Camaro, this is a slug but a more luxurious ride with great MPG. you’re not gonna win any race with this one unfortunately.
As someone who has driven a SUV and cross over in the past, I can appreciate the details and design of this K5. If I had to go back to a sedan this would be a pick for me.
Trouble locating accessories for the 2025 since the year model is new.. are the hood and side bug and rain visors same as 2024 model? I only see light changes dont see any hood or roof contour changes.. im guessing will fit?
I got mine a couple weeks ago. I’ve put roughly 1100 miles on her so far . 2 complaints , if you will. 1 ) passenger side pillar cover for windshield was warped and hanging . They fixed it with another , slightly less warped panel . That didn’t hang . 2) information panel went out while driving down the road. It restarted like I had just restarted the car . Hasn’t happened since . Aside from those things the car has been great . The leather is nice , the panoramic sunroof is nice , the car drives smooth . The driving assists are incredible . What you get for the price will be hard to meet in other manufacturers. In my opinion
I think it really just depends if you enjoy sunroofs or a bit enhanced audio. I personally love a sunroof but know many that do not. Either way the GT-Line is a great option! Enjoy yours
Some of the things in this video is wrong just to point out. I have a 2025 GT line GT one package you do not get quiet exhaust tips and it is not all wheel drive the EX is all wheel drive without the turbo motor and the GT line is front wheel drive with the turbo motor. In other words. I see it as them playing a safety game or they’re gonna actually come out with a true sports car model because The one with the turbo should have the all-wheel-drive chassis but none the less I’m loving my 2025 gt line
Thank you for watching and commenting! The only K5 with a turbocharged motor for 2025 is the GT. I really hope they make the GT All Wheel Drive at some point too.
Looks great but Kia missed in some important areas IMO. Camry seems like a better buy, more HP (191 vs 230), way better MPG's (27 vs 48) and other interior color choices; Kia only offers black interiors, yuck in the Summer heat and the red is too much. Plus no rear vents?
Depends on what you want. The new Camry Hybrid only strategy is great for MPG's but those who want more power at a lower price will chose the K5 GT. You can get rear vents on the EX and GT models, though I do think they should be standard on all models
My thoughts exactly if you want more power, get ev ... gas engines are a joke when it comes to power.... And anything with a turbo is complete joke turbos destroy long-term liability of the engine
Unfortunately, they kept the fake exhausts. The KIA Optima's Turbo model ALWAYS had REAL dual exhausts. There's no reason whatsoever they can't do it with the K5%. It's like trying to be something you're not.
@@c.harperautogroup It's still a beautiful car, and it's well made, with a great warranty. I wouldn't let fake dual exhausts stop you from buying the car if you're interested.

That' awesome! K5 really is a good mix of fun, sporty looks and comforts. Enjoy!
@@c.harperautogroup 100 percent i agree. it’s the best of both worlds! great video man thank you for the informative walkthrough!
@@beersandxanax Thanks for watching!
Any firepower under the hood. I miss the Stinger. I'm still rocking a Mitsubishi Evo

I agree! Kia wasn't lazy with the K5. It has a lot of nice features if you want a sedan
I JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR TODAY IT DRIVES GOOD I TURNED IN MY 2021 STINGER
Congrats!! You're going to love it!

Kia's value just keeps getting better and better! Enjoy your new K5!
I believe the heated steering wheel is available on the GT line AWD, not the FWD. Silly.
You are correct! Thanks for the correction
I bought one in blue just last week. I LOVE it.
That blue is a stunners too! Enjoy it.
I am very picky, but I hate that they left the black stripes off the seats for this model. GRRRR I feel that the black makes it way less boring!
Good point! Thanks for watching.
I just got a 2025 gt line and lemme tell you 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I get so many compliments aswell
Let's go!! Glad you are enjoying it
i want this exact model !!!
It's so nice!!
What is the color called for the dark grey almost black K5 GT?
I believe you're thinking of Interstellar Gray, however that is only available on LXS and EX for 2025
Does the car have ambient lighting? (Interior)
No ambient lighting :(
is the sunroof premium package worth it to anyone? i got 28k msrp fwd without the sunroof

Love the energy!
Thanks!
I’m definitely upgrading but the black on black wheels look so much better like on my 2022
Yeah the all black wheels do look amazing but the new tech on this 2025 is superb!
@@c.harperautogroup I’ll be upgrading for sure I have the 2022 currently I’m going to order mine next week!
The front window trim being black, but the back being chrome bothers me
That's my bad, it is all chrome. We didn't remove a piece of adhesive that comes when the K5 is shipped.
Is the gt option not awd??
Correct, the GT is only Front Wheel Drive. The GT-Line has All Wheel Drive optional
I like the GT-Line a lot! Can you show us a base model?
Sure can when we have one come in! Kia has mainly been sending GT-Line and EX models to start the 2025.
😍😍😍😍😍 I want this car so bad
I Feel that!! Thanks for watching
I hope to get mines tomorrow
Good luck! You're going to love it!
Is this turbocharged?
No, for 2025 the GT-Line has a naturally aspirated 2.5L I4 making 191 HP and 181 lb-ft Torque. You can get a turbocharged motor on the K5 GT though!
Why is the chrome trim on the left side only for the back door and not on driver's door?
Does it come like that?? coz it looks ugly!
No it will have chrome trim on both sides. This was a black plastic covering from shipping that wasn't removed. Sorry about that!

Just got one today.. lime green accents on the seats, looks slick. Also has a red option for seats
If you want more power then you don’t care about fuel economy nor price so more than likely you wouldn’t purchase a KIA…🤣
My thoughts exactly if you want more power, get ev ... gas engines are a joke when it comes to power.... And anything with a turbo is complete joke turbos destroy long-term liability of the engine
I don't like that chrome trim piece on the back doors it doesn't match the black front door one. wtf Kia designers smoking?
It does match, there was just some protective film from the factory that wasn't taken off. My bad on that.
@@c.harperautogroup ohhh gotcha, it makes sense now that you say that lol
I have the LXS variety and its amazing 🎉
LX-S is a great value! Enjoy

How many times can he say 2025 Kia K5
K5 times
Definitely better looking than the Hyundai Sonata!
Agree with you there!
Is this an electric car ?
No, the K5 is powered by two Internal combustion engines - a standard 2.5L or more powerful 2.5L Turbo
