30 years felony probation is actually not terrible for what this defendant could have faced if taken to trial by jury. GA is no joke when it comes to RICO violation indictments with a minimum five years and maximum of 20 years if convicted on each count plus fines/penalties. But like most others have already commented here, 30 years probation is a long, long time to walk the straight and narrow... He'll recidivate within two years time guaranteed. Then the court will turn the screws on him and he probably won't leave a correctional facility for the remainder of his natural life.
