  • A Georgia judge was shocked when two "YSL" gang members rejected the state's plea deals on Thursday ahead of Young Thug's RICO trial. "Young Slime Life" members Tenquarius Mender, aka Nard, faces 50 years if convicted of charges against him, while Derontae Bebee, aka Be, faces a life sentence. The judge asked the two co-defendants to reconsider the plea deal during a short break.

I did 5 years in state prison and had 10 years of parole after I got out. I went to work every single day and as soon as the day was over I went straight home. Everyone called me boring and a square but I was successfully released because I knew any little things I would do 10 years and not one of those people that laughed at me and called me names was going to do that time for me

What doesn't make sense to me is they are facing 20 - 30 years because they are allegedly dangerous criminals who can't live in society (the entire point of prison) but if they betray their co-defendant then they are magically no longer dangerous and released from prison. I can't help but feel the system is extremely flawed and out dated.

You are basically penalized for going into a trial when only there you can proove your innocense. This needs to be changed like yesterday!

Person pleaded out for 90 days in jail and 2 year probation. This person in the end served 42 days in jail with good time + 2 years probation.( no strike, no more firearms, felon). If that person went to trial - he was facing 2-6 years, if found guilty it trial by jury - that person would be given 6 years in JAIL. And I believe you have to do 80% of that. So glad I got out of all the b.s when I was in my early 20s. It’s a hard life dealing with cases, prosecutors, defense attorneys; the list goes on and on and on. When you are young you feel like you’re indestructible.

The judge is reiterating what their attorneys are likely telling them. Trial would be a huge risk, don’t do it! 🤦🏽‍♂️

That's ultimately the defendant's decision. He is already getting advised by counsel. If the judge thinks the counsel is incompetent, focus on that, not trying to team up with prosecutors to get him to agree to plea to something he may be innocent of.

With all these pleas being given out, it's likely the attorneys have picked up that the prosecution doesn't really have anything which is why they are trying to offer pleas...They need them to snitch.
