Hi Kyle, great content, I'm in Saskatchewan and best believe we have had snow for 2 weeks. I finally bought an edge pro after watching your videos looking to start a small business. Beautiful family you have, God Bless you and your family!

Mr. Noseworthy; you’ve come a long way brother; the knives you’re making now are beautifully executed. I started watching your videos on stone sharpening in the Murray Carter method after watching buying his blade sharpening fundamentals; and your videos helped me out immensely. Just wanted to say thanks. Hard work clearly becomes great work in your case; be good to yourself.

I just want to say that I discovered this channel when it was really really small.
I live sooooo far away from Canada, in a pretty messy part of the world and these videos, this life bring me peace.

Unbelievable knife Kyle. The curly maple handles you do will always be my favorite material.

Norton makes excellent oil stones. Their Crystolon fine stone will make almost any knife hair popping sharp with a good working edge. Same goes for their fine India stone, though less effective with harder steels than the Crystolon.

I may have skipped the part were you mentioned how to place the blade at a 15-20 degree angle on the sharpingstone, and slide moving from centre to tip, side A toward and then side B away from you. Is that correct?

Are the shapton stones completely flat? I currently use spyderco ceramic stones (medium and fine) but they are not completely flat so a really small blade (like a trapper knife or grandfather knife) will not contact the sharpening edge right.
I'm thinking of making the switch from the spyderco ceramic dry stones to the shapton splash and go stones.
