Great interview, I liked Tiana's personality. Beautiful like yours Ana. I have subscribed to Tiana's Instagram and RUclips. Thank you for being an inspiration Ana and supporting other writers. 💛
My home girls! Good episode, guys ^^ Do more together, for sure :D Personal insights from Tiana, and Ana, you have improved as an interviewer a lot. Congrats, both. P.S. Tiana loves the Mafia. I know now why she has always chilled my veins xD
(I’m writing this while I listen, I’ll leave my thoughts in a separate comment) I’ve been considering writing a book about my own childhood trauma but In a magical way. I want it to take place in a forest and as we come along memories the landscape shifts into where it takes place, and the main character gets locked into the memory, except he doesn’t know it’s his memory because he can’t remember anything about himself. As we go on there’s a bunny we met that represents a person from my past that guides me. Near the end it’s about healing your inner child. I was wondering if I could get some feedback, since you’ve inspired me to start writing it, and maybe making a series about it on my channel, anyways here’s the first but I write when I was sick and in a fever dream (the dream gave me this idea). Light, filtered through tall moss covered trees, it dances and spins and twirls all around me, taking on a life of its very own. A small creek runs through the forest. and on the ground. Quite like that of the trees, it is softly padded with moss and small twigs. Water trickles onward, insistent on getting where it wants to go. Or perhaps it’s trapped, moving restlessly in the groove created for it, forced to dance ever onwards. I look up, my eyes blinking slowly. I see the figure of a small child. Not too far away, but not close enough to make out the features. A soft, high pitched voice calls out to me, “Argo! What’re you waiting for?” Huh, my name must be Argo. But who’s this child and how does he know my name. The child’s back is turned towards me now, and he’s already started skipping away, giggling all whilst leading me onward. So, out of curiosity I follow the kid, walking through the small stream of water. But it’s not uncomfortable like you might expect. Oh. My feet are bare. And yet no pain ever reaches me. I hurry along, taking the same path as the child, wondering where he might be leading me. And who is he? he looks awfully familiar.
Holy gunchers! That's so good! Writing a book on your childhood traumas is a very good idea! Right now, I'm writing about mine too (even though I still am a child, and this trauna happened pretty recently.), it's a way I use for copping. Of course, I did make some changes. Also your writing is literally so pretty, like whaaaat????
First off, I love your writing style! secondly: OMGG IM WRITING A STORY ABOUT MY CHILDHOOD TRAUMA IN A MAGICAL WAY TOO LOLL it's fun to represent characters and things with magical/fantasy elements
I love, love love this so, so much, and I already want to read more of it. (definitely let me know if you ever publish it cause it sounds so, so good). I just had some quick little advice that I noticed while reading through, which are tiny but can make a bit of an impact. Completely fine if you choose not to follow them, just a couple of small things. I would just say try not to be too repetitive with your writing. In the first chapter, you say the word twice to describe where the river in flowing. The writing is especially beautiful in that part, but I would recommend maybe changing up the wording (while keeping the descriptions) to try to use less repeating words. And another thing -- be confident in your writing. try not to add words such as 'So' or 'Because at the start of your sentances. From my experience as an avid reader and writer, this makes the sentence almost, I don't know how to phrase it, discredited somehow? Try to your sentence, if that makes sense. (it probably doesn't, sorry :/) These are just tiny things I noticed and my personal preference, which you can ofc ignore. Its your book!! Have fun writing it. (Sorry for the unsolicited advice and how long this got.)
I LOVE THIS it’s so magical, it’s sort of giving me the series the wayward children vibes here’s one little thing I might change? Ofc just a personal preference! I’d suggest making the character be a little more confused? Give them more time to put the pieces that Argo is their name? Idk it just seemed like it was a little quick to me! But nonetheless that’s just my opinion and your writing is stunning! The description is so magical ❤
Hey Ana! I'm so glad you posted :) I was feeling kind of down (as in "I suck and want to cry"-kind of down) , but watching you just makes me so happy! You're (both) literally so gorg, awesome and funny. I love the way you two interact with each other as well. (edit:) the rain is so mean. it just randomly started raining super hard and i could barely hear you 😭
Hey Ana!! I'm a middle school age writer and I'm working on an interesting project: It's about two sisters surviving alone in the Forest. Their parents disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and they don't realize that someone is trying to kill them.
Could you make a video about social media for authors? Like how do you create and manage an account as an author? What kind of content should authors post? Is it necessary for authors to have social media? Also, thanks for the videos!
Hi ana! I love your videos SO MUCH!!! You really inspire me to actually finish a book. 😂 This doesn't really have anything to do with the video, but I was wondering. How do you balance writing and school?
Hi Ana, i love love love your videos so much you inspire me a lot, I’m actually a young author, and I’m having this competition at my school for short stories, i was wondering if you have any tips or ideas, thank you so much for all the work u do tho ur an Angel 🫶🫶🫶
I have a question, for western smut romance in general is it just like sex, boom they like each other or Ml weirdly get so close to Mc for them to have smt? I do enjoy smut in romance but not random ones like there needs to be smt to happen for it to occur.
Hi I'm Evelyn I'm 10 years old I love your rainbow loom videos but I'm not a book writer so I don't really watch your new book Videos but my sisters love to And Id like to see you try rainbow looming like 10 years after And I'm sorry if that sounded rude I did not mean to be rude
Hi, guys!!! I'm a new subscriber and a teen writer. I have a new idea for this huge fantasy novel, but I have no idea where to start. I've binge-watched most of your videos and signed up for all of the software you recommended, but I just don't know where to start! Do I start to plot? Do I start to brainstorm? Do I make a Pinterest board? AH, I don't know! Can you(or other commenters) write a step-by-step list of your writing process in the replies? (Including the software you use) thank you in advance
@@nangombow1590 hey i'm also a teen writer and i'd say the best way to start is to literally jot down every little idea for it, whether it be on paper and sticky notes or on a software like google docs in a list. this is probably the best first step to take so that you can understand your novel more and figure out where you want your story to go. to be more specific, write down any names, plot points and twists, big reveals, characters, scenes etc., and even include things like the genre and why the novel is important to you. hope this helps
I don't know if you still need help, but I also have a fantasy novel. I suggest starting with your characters and a tip I have is to break them up into smaller groups for example: Main Characters - the core people the book follows Side Characters - the secondary people that follow your main throughout the book and have subplots of their own Passing Characters - people in the book who appear for a chapter or less. You can organize them further into areas of location (a bar, a shop, a child of a friend, or a secondary character.) They are basically inconsequential to the plot and add to the world feeling alive. After that, you can build their lives for example: Where do they live? What is their job in the world? Who do they work with or for? Do they have close friends? How long have they lived there? Treat this part like an interview for your characters. It helps with world-building and getting to know your character's everyday routine. Another suggestion is to start making "Universal Laws" like things the people in your book can and cannot do. Their limits cannot be broken just like the law of nature in our world for example: An Object in Motion Stays in Motion. It helps to know what you can write and cannot so you don't magically solve every problem, it helps with creating obstacles for characters. That's two of the best I can recommend, I also use this to plan my own huge fantasy book. Just break it up into small sections and take your time. Also sorry for the bad grammar.
Holy shit, 600 pages ??? 😭😭😭
Grinding fr 😂
No smut romance?! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

You are brave for that 😭😭
