    You don't know how long I have searched for an explanation that I can understand, on how to install, and use this. Thank you very much!

    So, viewers have a lot of control over what the captions look like, but is there a way for you as the streamer to set things like its default location in your overlay? Also, if you have multiple people on your stream (like for an RPG), will it separate out different speakers or at least identify them?

    Is the extension activated by default? Meaning every viewers have to toggle off the extension if they don't need it?

    I have a question about the "twitch translation information" bar. Is it possible for me to have a negative balance? Is it all paid by the viewer's bits?

    Hello! Thank you for your thorough walk through and creating this function! Do you mind linking the dashboard in your description or pinning a comment to it? That way it can be easier for people to reach the site! This is the best implementation I've seen so far and I plan on using it in my streams... thanks again :)

    Sorry if you answered already but I didn't see: Does it automatically do this or do you always need the dashboard open in your browser for it to work?

      Once you turn it on you will need to keep it open. It will do a little pop up in case you accidentally try to close it while it is on.

    Can I add the source to display as open captions?

    • @talk2MeGooseman
      @talk2MeGooseman  3 года назад +2

      I haven't added the ability to have an open captions source option. There is a great alternative called Web Captioner that has great open captions support already. Unless I get more people wanting open captions to support instead of using web captioner, I don't have any direct plans to support it in the short term.

    Does it cost to add Stream Closed Captions? I am asking for two twitchers who I usually watch with Chrome's Auto-Closed Caption.

    Does this translate languages or only CC the language I speak?

    • @talk2MeGooseman
      @talk2MeGooseman  2 года назад

      It will CC your spoken language with a feature to enable translations using bits.

    I am using chrome and I can't get it to work for some reason. it is set as an overlay, it is activated, I set the lamnguage and twitch is switched on. Yet when I turn on the closed captions button on the bottom it doesn't pick anything up. Anyone have an idea why? I would like my streams to be as inclusive as possible. I am referring to 2:52 it is not showing any captions or picking up my voice.

      @@talk2MeGooseman I figured it out! Haha, it was that chrome wasn't grabbing from the correct microphone. Even though my default mic is my headset chrome was trying to pull from my oculus for some reason. But yeah! It works lovely now, thanks!

      That unfortunate. Which browser are you using? I know both closed captions solutions require using Chrome or Edge.
