    One catches flies with honey not spice….if myron TRULY wanted to help anyone other than his wallet and ego he would teach through love. Additionally i hear the term brutal honesty thrown around…my father once taught me that it’s never an excuse to be cruel.
    Me having had true great men like him in my life has shown me that fresh and fit types are not real men…merely boys who got old and didn’t grow up

      Although I personally don’t agree with some of their views, if showing kindness means lying to people about what is healthy and what’s not which let’s be honest that is what society is doing with the body positivity movement, then I prefer brutal honesty. However I respect your opinion and I’m glad you’ve had great men to follow in your life

      @@Beazy3112 i specifically said brutal honesty is NOT an EXCUSE To be cruel.
      That doesn’t mean lie to people about their health. It mean if a morbidly obese person thinks there is no problem with their health you have a friendly convo with them.
      Further, if you attack a person for being fat they will not interpret it as helpful they can and often will interpret it as an attack on them for just being.

    I think it’s necessary to be harsh, especially if you want to genuinely help someone change. If they don’t realize how bad it is, they won’t change. Sometimes you need to be an A*hole to not be a real A*hole, if yk what I mean.

      The issue with this logic is that most of the time the side that's "concerned" doesn't actually care about the person's well being and treats them poorly just for simply being overweight

    • @Unterschätzdasmalnicht
      @Unterschätzdasmalnicht 8 месяцев назад

      @@princeboyd3795 how is that an issue with my logic? Doesn’t change the fact, that the likelihood of them changing their weight, will drastically increase if they get called out on it in an uncomfortable manner.

      @@Unterschätzdasmalnicht That's the exact opposite of how it works though. All it does is make people feel bad which directly translates to them falling into their bad habits. Think about it why do people that get picked on in school stay overweight instead of losing the weight when that's the best way to reach them?

    • @Unterschätzdasmalnicht
      @Unterschätzdasmalnicht 8 месяцев назад

      @@princeboyd3795 wrong. The whole concept of shame only exists for people to change. Our Psyche literally only creates shame for that exact reason, to change. Some will never change, there’s winners and losers. Doesn’t change the fact, that shame is the most effective way to get someone to change.

    • @princeboyd3795
      @princeboyd3795 8 месяцев назад

      @@Unterschätzdasmalnicht shame is more of a learned behavior as we are taught what is looked down upon and what is not. If someone grows up doing something wrong and is never taught that it's wrong why would shame suddenly work on them? Also would you say the same method works on other things like being gay?

    People are different. some are more responsive to harsh than soft. It's healthy to hear both. Actual mothers and fathers used to provide that.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Myron wasn't wrong here. Honestly this fat acceptance crap is ridiculous. Those same fat guys in this video literally wanted to be on the fit side except for the one emotional queen who literally has a platform based on him being fat. Myron was pretty based for the most part, although he did say some things in a purely inflammatory way. Being over 300 pounds is inexcusable, sorry. Thank you for being real about this. It's annoying see these other videos promoting fat people and their excuses. I literally see patients with actual conditions like hypothyroidism etc who literally have similar weight control to those who don't. Why is this not an issue in other nations with less than America? We're too PC nowadays.

    So you're ok with "bringing back bullying", right? This is hanging that there are people that are willing to ignore the extreme/idiotic/condescending takes just to accept the little generic truth that you can get from someone who is not like that. Being rude and audacity does not equal genuine honesty, something unfortunately black people have a hard time getting that.

      When I gained too much weight I got told about it and did something about it. These people don't have the switch telling them to shape up. Ironically when "bullying" was more of a thing, major obesity crisis, fat acceptance/influencers and 1000 genders also wasn't a thing. This is a literal 1st world problem the majority of the time when it really shouldn't be. What would you do when you have people who are significantly overweight on multiple medications who refuse to make the change when you've exhausted all your nice options? If being nice worked then this wouldn't be an issue and being super pc about everything would be the answer but it's clearly not. Instead they become fat influencers telling people to get 100 lbs overweight and go to the emergency room with DKA. I'd rather save someone's life because that's higher priority over feelings.
