First of all, gentle delays in Frankfurt/Main, Germany and then renting a car at the airport. This is just the start of something very special.

Even though this video is 4 years old I found it useful for someone who never rented a car in Ireland. Someone made a comment about DON’T buy the insurance if you are from America because our car insurance will cover the rental. This is not true in most cases. For instance, Geico is a very popular American car insurance company and they will not cover any car rental in Europe. Some credit card companies however will cover the rental car.

Never buy the insurance if your American. Our insurance companies use our own insurance
