Brussels has two airports:
1/ Brussels Airport in Zaventem (regular), about 15 minutes drive from Brussels, direct train connections to Brussels, Antwerp, ...
2/ Brussels South Airport in Charleroi (low cost), about 1 hour drive from Brussels, no train station (only bus)
In Belgium they speak Dutch and French. The Flemish part speaks Dutch and the Wallon part speaks in French. You were in the French part of the country. Anyways,excited to see your trip to Belgium

We do not speak Dutch but Flemish and that's not the same!
And there's German as well in the Eastern part. Belgium in fact has three official languages.

Yes the cold probably exascerbated the ear issues. Mine are so sensitive anyway, that when I've flown I try to keep yawning during ascent and descent.

Was that a Mini--I love those cars! They're so fun to drive. One of my bucket list items is to drive through Europe--except maybe not Italy. The drivers there are too crazy. And not into the big cities. This looks like so much Fun!!
we rent cars all the time when we travel, best part of traveling for me, and we always! take photos, cause you never no right? a lot of the times we end up questioning if we did something, so its a good way to see if they were there first.

Hey, I'm from Belgium. The south part of Belgium speaks French and the North part speaks Flemish, Sounds like Dutch but a different accent. Just so you know ;). In Brussels they mostly speak French. Enjoy your week here!

The fries honestly are nothing special
Because I recently joined, I know my suggestion might be too late.
But...if you did five days Monday through Friday or weekends Friday through Sunday if you don’t want to video report everyday.

You got such a good deal on that car! We had to spend 400 for 12 days in France. It was at the international airport so maybe that had something to do with it 😂 do love renting a car though when you can. I remember your diesel incident, so don't pick the green this time!

Airport Brussels isn't far south ( that's Charleroi airport) it is just north of Brussels. In Zaventem.
I am not sure what cellphone provider you have, but if you get T Mobile you can you data, talk, and text for free in a lot of countries. I have used it in Iceland and Ireland and it works great. I mean T Mobile coverage sucks in the USA, lol, but is pretty good in Europe!

You would have internet using your polish Plus prepaid card if you would turn on roaming option :) It EU there is no charge for roaming so you can use sim card from one country and use it for internet in all of European Union (costs of use are the same like in country you bought the sim card - you're using polish sim card and paying in Belgium for internet in polish prices, not belgian).
By the way, the weather forecast on the radio at the end of the video gave 21°C for the day and 24°C and fair for the day after :-) Unusually hot for october...
The Brussels airport is right next to Brussels. But you're not flying to Brussels airport, you're flying to Charleroi, an hour south of Brussels. They call themselves Brussels-South for marketing purposes, even though they're closer to France than to Brussels. It's a Ryanair thing.
Fun to keep track of where you are... South Belgium (Walloon) = French speaking majority, North Belgium (Flanders) = Dutch speaking majority...

The freeway speed limit in Europe is normally if there's no signs telling you otherwise 130 ;)

Renting a car in Belgium, and actually having the balls to brave that traffic and especially those roads, you have indeed got some balls, or lack of knowledge on how terrible their roads are :P
They are actually rated worse than a lot of poor countries :')

In flanders people mostly speak dutch but we learn frnech to so we can speak french to and in wallon part they speak french but they learn dutch and in brussel 50% dutch 50% french
