I’m not sure what the actual size is but the welder would fit the 3/8” diameter size connectors. We got adapters from the 3/8” to the larger 5/8” plugs that are more common.
What would possess someone/anyone to give away a brand new even if a bit older welder/generator? They cost several thousand dollars new and even for a TA it would probably bring $3-$4K, $2500 easy in this condition all day long. Seems many pipeline and other professional welders consider having a Thermal Arc welder/generator as being just short notch above not having one. I don't because if it works correctly and costs me less to buy / maintain / repair and is comparably reliable to the higher cost units well, it makes me happy. Perhaps a pissed off wife/girlfriend who just found out her husband/boyfriend/baby daddy has cheated on her and/or is leaving his wife/girlfriend/baby momma. Call it her pre-divorce intro into just what to expect from here on out.
It uses gasoline. Im running 8010, 6010 pretty good, with 7018 I got a little bit some spatter but The welder generator run pretty good for a structural welder as me
Of course I never find something like that when I need

Awesome find!
Bet the windings go bad. Before 300 hours
I just got one for free too lol it won’t start but I’m sure it’s nothing bad.

Just a tip you should never jump start a welder generator you can fry the board and thats usually cost more that the machines worth.
