I made a workbench out of beech - it’s gorgeous wood - honey brown. Beech isn’t hard to work and is relatively hard and without the deep pores like oak for stuff to get stuck in.
That core/heart slab would be perfect to throw a wire brush on the grinder and clean that rot out and make a nice table with some colored epoxy and LED or fiber optic lighting in it, been a lot of expensive tables made out of what would normally be firewood slabs with epoxy
Careful you don't blowout your bicep tendons lifting those slabs. Ripped biceps are not fun. Maybe think about getting a bigger tractor for those logs lol.

Beautiful wood
Great video
Operator skills are on point! That wood is beautiful. It has so much character!
Thanks!

You have any fluid ballast in the tractor tires?
The rear tires are filled
Do you get your logs for free or have to buy them?
I mostly get them all for free
I would never buy a slab that dogs walked all over. Disgusting.
Well some people would pay more so I guess it evens out.
If only my dog could still walk on slabs…. There was nothing disgusting about his steps…
