What is GlusterFS?

LockerGnome's Jake Ludington talks with folks from Gluster about what GlusterFS is and how it works. Gluster's file system provides a hash index of files for rapid file look ups across very large file collections into petabytes in size. Whether you are configuring a pure cloud configuration, creating a private cloud or replicating data between traditional bare metal data centers and a cloud infrastructure, Gluster allows for replication across a variety of scenarios. You may have used Gluster without knowing it each time you use your Pandora account.
