Do you know what I love most about your tutorials? You shoot your videos not just to make videos, but to teach. so I don't need any other source while watching, I can find answers to all my questions. Thank you Venkat.
Thanks for the video, simple and just good. I got here while i was searching for Seaweedfs. If you have any video on Seaweedfs, please share the link. If not your video on the Seaweedfs will help a lot. Thank You.
Another excellent result. Thanks! One thing that I would be interested in seeing discussed is the combination of Gluster with CTDB and CIFS/NFS and maybe even a Netatalk configuration for all-Mac environments. No matter how Apple presents it, AFP is faster at every level for an all-Mac enviroinment than CIFS/SMB.
First of all thank you for this great video series. Is it possible / a good idea, let's say you have a pool of three gluster servers (each one with one brick) and create a replicated volume with replica 2? This should add redundancy as the files are stored always at two of the servers and also increases the capacity? Or did I get this point wrong?
you are my savior. Thanks for sharing your knowledge to us. Can you please also let us know which one I should use for production grade systems (NFS or Gluster FS or any other suggestible one? )
Good afternoon, I created a scenario with 3 servers, but 2 of them are also clients.... but when I restart one of them, giving a df -h the mount point doesn't exist anymore.. would it be possible to leave the fixed mount point even after initialization?
hi Venkart, it's so great with me, could you make a video about setup SSL/TLS amd base Authentication? because I want to public outside, hope your help
Great info Venkat !! Its different from Ceph, they have to use 3 replicas and nodes at least... Did you try ceph ???? if you make a video it will be great :D ! cant wait for the demo !
Hi Gonzalo, thanks for watching. Someone asked me to do a video on using GlusterFS as a persistent volume storage in Kubernetes. So thought of first explaining GlusterFS and then go about doing it in Kubernetes. I haven't tried ceph yet, but will explore that soon. Cheers.
You're a heaven sent for us starting to learn Kubernetes, Open Source and High Availability Clusters!
Hi, many thanks for your interest in my channel. Great to hear you are finding it useful.

Ceph (we are currently using) or GlusterFS(I heard it is equally good). A big no to NFS for Production.
Great explanation extremely easy to follow - thank you :)
